Trailer - Flawed Paradise (Before Comp Crash)
Jaret's Avatar
Plot Summary:
After a secret agent goes missing, five individuals set out to find him and a very important person named Olette. On a flight to Chicago, the passengers find themselves flying over a whole different world with no idea how they got there. After a crash landing, the five are stranded on the island with no way to get home, but they are not alone...

Note: This movie has been canceled due to lost interest after I lost all work. It may be made one day but I already have a script for a different movie made. Expect "Memories of a Lost Friend" to hit the 3dmm scene during the film fest.
Flawed Paradise is the first film in the "flawed" series. The second being Flawed Galaxy (Yet to be re-made completely). Flawed Paradise tells the story of how lifespheres came to be and is voiced completely by me. This trailer shows what I have made so far (the main plot parts) and is still in production. Hope it gets finished in time for the fest! This movie is very story-based so if you are the kind of person who only likes watching action films then you might want to stay away from this one seeing as it is one of my first 3dmm films...

The Story:
After a secret agent goes missing, five individuals set out to find him and a very important person named Olette. On a flight to Chicago, the passengers find themselves flying over a whole different world with no idea how they got there. After a crash landing, the five are stranded on the island with no way to get home, but they are not alone...

Important aspects:
*The "flawed" series "lifespheres" are introduced.
*The first in the series.
*Introduced the land of Ardanlaw.
*Set the stage for the future of the series.
*First movie (that will be completed) that uses custom scenery.

Another note: Though this may be the first in the series, there is not necessarily going to be a sequel. Depending on the feedback I get will determine if a sequel is to be made.

As it's your first film I guess that wasn't such a bad effort, but I'm just gonna have to be brutal. Firstly, I hate that you used the theme from Requiem For A Dream. The trailer felt completely ruined by it; that music is totally overused. And it was far too loud also, you can barely hear the voices. Secondly the titles were pretty abysmal and lasted far too long, whilst the camera angles and animation were below par by today's standards. Generally, the whole thing felt very amateur - I suggest you look over some professional trailers.

On the upside, the name of the movie and what little you can glean from the trailer sounds like a somewhat interesting plot. Does the fact that the file is named Trailer 1 mean you're doing another?

Yes, I will be doing another trailer for this movie in a bit when I have more custom scenery. I admit, the titles were a bit long... Thanks for the comments and I will take those things mentioned into account. I had fixed the volume of the music but forgot to save and uploaded the one with loud music so sorry for that.

Yeah, this seemed very "first movie". But it looks like you're going to have a pretty indepth story, so hopefully it's an interesting one. Looking forward to see how this ends up.

You should play around with v3dmm after this, as you can make a lot better looking scenery.

Yeah the story should be in-depth. I was planning on doing Flawed Galaxy first but that story progressed REALLY SLOW! In this one, I don't want to have too much pointless dialogue. I just want to tell the story in the most interesting and quickest way possible.
