Note - this was apparently never solved. A solution was posted in the form of a 3dmm movie, but it is probably lost. Pogo at least knows the solution, though.

This kind of idea has inspired me. I am currently working on a similar sort of thing but with mine you have to watch a bunch of people who are stranded on an island live their lives. You listen to what they say, examine objects, change the view to get a different perspective, that kind of thing. Should be promising...
