It's difficult to achieve the feel you were going for in 3DMM, but I think you did a good job at doing so. The models certainly helped. But come on, that "SUN"? You could've done better, lol.

The music dragged on quite a bit. It was good in the beginning but became tiring.

Good direction and shots.

Very nice short. Good music, well framed shots, nice use of models. Not really sure how thought provoking or insightful it is, but I still enjoyed it because it was well done. I'm not the slightest religious, so maybe the feelings you put into it were lost on me. Didn't really get a "Wow, the Earth's creation is beautiful." feeling, but more of "Hey, that effect is kinda neat."

But anyway, nice short.

It seems like the more abstract (or at least the less "scripted") your film premises get, the more I like them.

This showed all the typical Bevis hallmarks I've noticed: great abstract work with multiple lines, shapes, and forms in high motion, an eye for "big" shots, a high-minded kind of poetic premise, and at least one weak effect that drove me absolutely insane (the sun).

I'm not exactly a big Old Testament fan, but the creation story certainly has a cinematic impact. Out of curiosity, does this come from a religious belief or just more of a visual interest in Genesis?

Haha yeah the shape of the sun was crazy. Overall I liked this though. A lot of the panning shots of developing landscape looked a little cross-hatched and messy but with a shot like that it'd be very hard to do extremely smoothly. I really liked the idea for the credits, however brief the pictures were. And I really liked the volcano effect. Great, great idea for a short, you pulled it off.

Oh definately more of a visual interest. It's a concept that I would like to believe in.

It stopped on few sceness, 43 maybe, can't totally remember, but I know 50 is one of the scenes that it stopped on, and I didn't even continue after that. So far, though, I like it, it doesn't have as much of whatever it is that makes me not like Bevis movies.

Delete or move your expansions out of the Expansions folder before opening the file to fix stopping errors.

Hey, I'm not some n00bzors, I've known that trick long before folks started talking about it on this board. I was just sayin', y'know? Also that trick doesn't work for me, I think it has something to do with vista, but I'm getting another computer with xp here shortly so I'm not even going to go into details.

Hey, that was pretty good. I was expecting,at first, for it to go on and tell the whole "Eden, Adam, Eve, snake, apple, naked, banished, pwned" story. Glad it didn't. Really nice idea!

It's an okay film. I mean, it's pretty and all, but I just didn't feel like it was pretty enough to justify the lack of any real substance. This feels like more of a demo than a real movie.

It's a short about the creation of the world. What else does it need? Dialogue?

I liked that a lot, Bevis. Reminded me of the cinematic in Ocarina of Time of when the world is created. I know, lame reference, but that's the most similar visual experience that I've seen to this. (Obviously there are a lot of written ones.)

The part where the birds were flying impressed me the most. I would have done without the end quote, because everybody already knows what you're referring to by the title. But maybe that's just because I have an irrational hate for the bible, who knows. Anyway, great job. 8/10

I was just wondering about the same, actually.

This was a Bevis short for sure. It just had that typical Bevis "the world can truly be beautiful sometimes" feel (not to mention the music.. ). As usual, splendid visuals. I really liked the volcano shot for some reason. I can't help but feel that the flooding water scene should have been more spectacular than it was though. But there are lots of great looking shots that deserves to be mentioned here (like 33, 40, 41 (even if that circle bothered me a little) and 19).

Personally I think that the photographs in the end gave the movie a pretty worn-out message, but at the same time it didn't really seem like you were focusing on them too much, confusing me a little.

A 7/10 then.
