No worries, hope you got something out of it.

I liked this better than your last. Review coming in a not so distant future!

Another great surprise. Interesting concept and good music selection, as usual. I added a download mirror for you.

That was pretty stunning, I really liked your use of pace and i thought the length was absolutely perfect.

I was slightly concerned it would get repetitive, but obviously you'd already thought of this, so it wasn't.

Have you ever seen the film Run Lola Run? The concept of this is similar to that.

Haha I was about to mention that exact film too. Damn you guys, you stole my chance to look slightly knowledgable on something.

Very interesting film, I liked it. And that lightning sky effect was great in its simplicity, I might have to steal that at some point.

A pleasant surprise. Cool movie, dude. Good execution, well-paced. The only thing that bothered me was all the flashing crosshatching objects at the beginning, which was kind of distracting. Otherwise, well done.

Agreed with HMC, the crosshatching was so erratic it nearly ruined the establishing shots of the movie.

Interesting idea, I like that the concept wasn't explained, but taken at face value. It's always cool to see a good idea left alone to stand on its own strength rather than buffered by needless exposition. Full review soon.

Oh man. I don't mean to be a dick or anything but I was very disappointed, For me, it just seemed to be a bit too long for what was effectively a guy running to save a woman from drowning. I try to imagine what the film would be like without the score which is clearly lifted from another film (not that that can be held against a 3d movie) and it just seemed like a long music video with no real development or twist to keep the viewer interested.

I mean, it was fairly annoying how long it took the guy to get there and the obstacles he faced were so bizarre and cliche it really never made me feel he HAD to get here. It's so unclear that it's pretty confusing. Why is there a fire?

In terms of scenery I completely agree with HMC and Aaron, the grey and white textures flickering at the beginning are hugely distracting. And once you've seen it, whenever you go back to that shot it's really noticable. I know how hard it is to make 3dmm scenes look interesting but in my opinion they look a hell of a lot worse when they are blended in and flickering because of the shitty restraints of the program. It's just so unpleasing to the eye. This also happened in several scenes.

I appreciate that you're at least trying to do something different. I'll always watch whatever new film you do. I just think sometimes you go into things that you just can't convey visually if that makes sense. You have some interesting ideas but I'm still waiting on something that I really like from you. I enjoyed Dance Of the Firefly's but I saw that as more of an exercise than a film. I'm pretty drunk at the moment but I'll review it properly if you want. I'm just trying to be constructive.

I thought it was a good, solid film...
it was a Bevis film for sure.

only problems I have, was the shoe tieing animation was a little strange. and the scene where he's running towards the pool (2:49 on the youtube movie) and it's meant to be sorta spinning? yeah I thought that was a little strange.

but yes, good movie! made quickly and well! THUMBS UP!

EDIT: and it needed patrick! Augustin, Kim and Patrick!

Reviewed. Short review, but it's a short movie. I'm unable to write as many paragraphs as delicate as Mr. Haynes or Mr. Goro.

Awesome little movie
I think it woulda been cool if each time he 're-ran' the route the dead bodies from the previous ATTEMPTS were still there.

but yeah, great concept, although yeah what jay said, BIT CLICHE but it ain't no Jim McGraff so you don't have to worry about that

I thought it was great, regardless of cross-hatching and camera work.

It entertained and did a great job of doing so.

I thought the redoing stuff was a neat idea, but it kind of dragged on. Full review whenever I update my site :P

There's a small mistake during the scene where the lightning makes Augustin fall over. When it closes up on his face he's wearing his default costume.

I have to say that the concept was too cheesy and just made me think 'Typical Richard Bevis'. You should try writing a short script or use somebody elses, because your directing skills are good and you could probably apply them well to something with an actual plot. I enjoy watching your surreal movies like this one but it's mainly just because of the animation/scenery. It would be good to see you do something else that's more focused on the plot while still maintaining your directing style.
