00Dee Boned: You Only Live Until You Die

This was my first time watching the well-known 00 Dee Boned in action. I really didn't know what to expect. I haven't seen any of Russel Stepan's work, people were very excited by his upcoming 00 Dee Boned movie, Venison Jelly, and the title was very enticing. To me, it sounded more like a silly action or comedy flick, loosely connected to the real Bond films, and I was interested to see how the director can gel two seemingly different genres into one. Credit to the director, You Only Live Until You Die has worked far better than I expected. In fact, I was really engrossed and entertained watching this movie.

Let's get down to the movie itself. This Dee Boned movie had many 'smiling' moments. From the second Dee Boned is woken up, slammed across the room, and lands rather uncomfortably on the floor, you know that this movie is going to keep your eyes glued. The idea is really simple. Dee Boned is given an assignment from his boss, to...[insert pause here]...wash his laundry. I couldn't believe what I saw, and I was chuckling a lot. Not in a million years would I expect an assignment like that to be given, so simple, yet so effective. And to finish off that sequence, the well-known self-destructing message was used, it was the icing on the cake. But I don't want to reveal more, you have to watch it yourself. I'll just warn you now, this 00 Dee Boned flick contains a small use of default scenery. If that puts you off, not only you're going to miss this great action-packed movie, you also need a check in reality.

All in all, this was a very enjoyable piece of, well, silly action. You would do well to take a look at the 00 Dee Boned films if you haven't done so already. With the hugely-hyped Venison Jelly coming our way, take a peek at You Only Live Until You Die to get your eyes ready. It's the small touches that make this movie so entertaining. Russel Stepan has somehow managed to mix crazy action and James Bond together into this, a pointless, yet very enjoyable watch. If Venison Jelly is just like this, but longer, I'll be praising Stepan for a long time. Think doing the laundry is a bore? Well you obviously haven't seen 00 Dee Boned in action, where laundry baskets destruct.
