Every now and then, smutty visuals can be whole-heartedly pushed aside due to the sheer brilliance of the movie. And every once in a while, a movie is made up of great camera movement, well choreographed and imaginitive action and fast paced narrative to replace the far from substantial plot and mediocre scene construction. 00 Dee Boned is in my eyes, a movie that constructs a fairly linear narrative, but does it with impeccable style. The action is not only highly imaginitive but also incredibly well directed. The music fits well and the character's animation is superb. Not only this but director Russell Stepfan appears to produce a completely original premise: the skateboarding action movie. If this is an example of his animation, give me more right now, because its rare for me to sit down and watch a PAM without wondering what happens next. All too often PAMS involve guns, acrobatics, explosions and fairly predictable chases involving helicopters, cars etc. etc. The movie doesn't seem to do any of this, instead making good use of the skateboarding introduction to create a vastly impressive and very entertaining action sequence. One of the rare PAMS where I wanted to see what would happen next. Brick walls, bullet time, half-pipes and snooker cues. It's a right laugh. If you haven't seen it, go and do it. It certainly wont be a waste of five minutes.
