G-Note & Wooded-Z: Blinguistics

We like rap. So in 2005 my comical genius buddy and I wrote and recorded this album for fun in a few weeks. In it, we assume the identities of two typical black rappers named G-Note & Wooded Z.

With samples from Cyndi Lauper, Barbra Streisand, Evanescence and more, don't be fooled, this is a full album that surprisingly you might enjoy banging in your cadillac at full volume. Even if it's ironically. Enjoy!

Size: 111MB

Here's a short sample of the CD:

Here's the tracklist:

Blinguistics CD
-------------------------------------------------------------
01. Pop Kulcha (Ft. Lindsay Valentine) [4:13]
02. Nasty Hoes [4:16]
Hilarious. Not my track so I can say that, DO NOT LISTEN IF YOU ARE A GIRL.
03. The Signs (Ft. Evanescence) [3:50]
04. Riches & Bitches (Ft. Stav Murda) [3:30]
05. Mother N-----, Mother Fucker [3:26]
06. Blinguistics [4:54]
07. The Good Lyfe (Ft. X-Tra Krutonz) [4:50]
08. Time After Time Again (Ft. ReenBee) [4:53]
This features a girl friend who I totally had a crush on. SHE IS HOT!
09. For You [2:02]
10. The Heist (Ft. Shaquel, X-Tra, MC Righteous) [9:16]
This is a concept song that revolves around the gang executing a bank robbery. Told from each member's perspective.
11. Shh.. (Ft. Bobby Lopez) [4:25]
12. Untitled [5:26]
This song was actually improvised, as the track suggests!
13. Remember The Eleven (Ft. Barbra Streisand) [5:16]
14. Bling Bling (Ft. B.G.) [4:32]
15. All Four Corners (Ft. ReenBee) [6:05]
HOT GIRL!
16. Farethee Well [3:44]
17. Flashback [5:24]
This track is a concept song that's set in the 80s, when G-Note & Wooded-Z were young upcoming rappers.

Loved Pop Kulcha, Nasty Hoes, Blinguistics, and The Heist the most. Maybe Flashback if I had the lyrics. The message in The Good Lyfe was pretty funny though.

Orcus's opinions basically reflect mine except that "Flashback" is my favourite track.

For an amateur production The Heist is one of the more well-constructed story songs that's fun to listen to I've ever heard. It's too god damn catchy. I'd love to hear more songs with the other rappers.

i believe its just Wooded-Z singing over whoever the hell did that terrible song, ah thats right "B.G."

here are the lyrics:
Bling bling
Everytime I come around yo city
Bling bling
Pinky ring worth about fifty
Bling bling
Everytime I buy a new ride
Bling bling
Lorenzos on Yokahama tires
Bling bling

terrible.

Found this on my iTunes again and remembered how good it is. Even if the actual rapping isn't that great (not that it has to be) it's still a really impressive achievement and damned ambitious for a joke album made in a few weeks.

I reuploaded it in case anyone else wants to listen again: http://www.ugmoinc.com/blinguistics.zip

I like how the whole album now works as a mid-2000s period piece the same way the final track works as an 80s period piece
