The Story of Xentrix

A young boy and his dog go on a walk that leads them to a larger truth about them both.

This was Robert Domke's goodbye/welcome back movie in 2003. I do believe it was his last movie.

I've always really liked this one, too. It's so pointless and simple, yet it's got style and warmth. I think it is about as wonderful as shorts get at this much effort.

can anyone tell me the name of that domke's movie... i can't remember exactly what happened, but I do remember this scene, where a dead cat is on a table or something and it says "take your time to enjoy the most sensual things in life" or some stuff like that? i remember it was a really random short.

It uses the doraemon expansion pack in that scene. Chances are it was made before the expansion was properly patched. There's a 3mm fixer somewhere that'll take care of it.

This was awesome. I just discovered and watched it after exploring Domke's profile. Amazing the kind of self-marketing you can get from a simple perma-ban...

I don't know where this from. It has some connection to Boards of Canada (they produced a track with this story and computer voice reading out the lyrics), but the animation seems to be from an extremely creepy Sesame Street vignette or something.
