Yeti and Squidworth's Halloween Nightmare: Good Edition
Jon Barton's Avatar
Plot Summary:
After a bird is struck by lightning on halloween night, he becomes....EVIL.

Filling up the archive. Jon told me he was going to add this himself as part of a promotional stunt for another release, but that was back in 2005 and it is sorely missing in the archives.

Finally fixed the movie's ONE DAMN DORAEMON SOUND that froze up near the end.

This was a really cute movie. There's some great handmade character animation going on here. There are a few points where the animation is really static, but otherwise it's pretty smooth and lively. A good pick for Halloween.

Agreed, it feels a little more sluggish than it did way back when. However, I've seen a lot of movies that are punchier but don't make me smile nearly as much.

Yeah, a nice short for halloween. The character animation, particularly the facial expressions during the "conscience" scene, make this film. It's fun but also interesting to watch.

Well I thought I'd seen this, but apparently not. Really really enjoyed it, mostly because almost every shot had impressive eye-candy animation. Nothing deep or hilarious, but these hmc's are extremely well done and a lot of the facial expressions I thought were on the level of professional animation. I really wish I could say more, since I think the animation quality really warrants it, but I can't really think of anything.

Wow yeah I hadn't seen this either. Incredible! Some of the best pre-v3dmm scenery and animation I've seen in any movie. The HMCs were great, the character movements and facial expressions were great - just awesome all around. The humor, particularly the silly background things like "Handmade Telephone," was excellent and fit the tone perfectly. Can't believe I'd never seen this!

That was AWESOME!!!

However, I can only imagine that one frame must have taken an hour to shift. I try to find ways to do more work in less time.

But connect the dots Clinton. People almost never seem to like your 3dmm movies, but people love this 3dmm movie. You're not taking shortcuts, you're just not giving any effort at all.
