yeah. when you're playing with a good team it can be handy. if someones annoying you can always just put them on ignore.

I sometimes feel like I'm missing someone saying where the flag is or something, but a lot of people still use text for that, so I leave it disabled. Cause MOST of the gameplay has someone talking. If someone doesn't talk for 10 seconds, its unusual. Thats too much talk!

A few byob fags have started infesting the uk goon server at various times and it's horrible

I sometimes play PPP (which is the gimmick server for goons) but sometimes the americans talking are just so annoying that I have to quit. There was this girl who was making the same spy sappin mah X joke every 2 minues for like 3 hours and a lot of guys with nasally voices who should probably never speak aggaugaghoiaghag

Luckily voice chat on uk servers is generally ok and I just mute children/people who call me a gay.

TF2 Update:

New official map released....sorta. Capture The Flag is now in Well.
Also, there's a new update coming for the Medic to have more achievements (old news) but the word is, that soon there will be new weapons added to all classes, which are unlocked after earning certain amounts of achievements. Also, a new gamemode is coming in the form of a map:

"In Goldrush, one team must escort a small mining cart through a series of Dustbowl-like map segments. The cart moves faster the more Blue players are near it, but stops entirely if even one Red player is in range. Blue have to escort the cart all the way to Red's headquarters within a certain time limit"

There shouldn't be any new weapons. There's already enough. New maps would be nice. Also, CTF Dustbowl, the way its meant to be. This new CP Dustbowl is crap.

i love the facial animation system. so many great things about this though. the "haze" of orange explosion in the background where the engi's liek "shiiiiiit why did i leave my sentry herrrree",
flames are esconcing the heavy but he's all "NYET. FUCK YOU."
