Finished Project
Stefan's Avatar
Plot Summary:
A young boy suffers unforeseen consequences after staying late at school to finish a project.

This was the third movie posted during the 2007 FrightFest.

A little short horror of mine to finish off the fest. Got the idea from thinking about what if they hadn't closed a local school about a week ago.

And that's it for FrightFest 2007. Short and sweet but we got a quality movie out of it, and that makes it worthwhile. I hope everyone had a good Halloween.

Michael and Jon, I'm still looking forward to your guy's movies.

Wow. My first movie in 3 years. Hopefully it'll get my butt moving because I have a thing or two up my sleeve.

An interesting turn for your movie style, Stefan. It's interesting how the comic nature of 3dmm and the basic program contrast with the story and intended atmosphere of this movie. It gave me recollections of a sort of parody, where we might already be familiar with the characters, but suddenly their world is changed into a format that we are familiar with as well.. but totally different from their world.

This movie could have benefitted from some more sound effects, I feel. Finding a good creeping noise can really raise the suspense of a situation! The final lunge seemed less of an ending and more of a segue into a new scene because of the eerie quietness. So odd that horror movies can either greatly benefit by noise or the removal of noise altogether, but a bad handling of either just destroys a scene.

It's good to see you back in action. The construction isn't quite up to what I know you are capable of, but I'd say that it fits the bill for being all that is necessary. A little v3dmm help would also go a long way; don't be afraid of it!

Hahaha oh god my voice + mic sounded terrible, hahah sorry about that. But yeah I sorta liked this, though it really was short and a bit "...oh ok" at the end.
