Woah, maybe it's because i haven't watched any 3dmm movies in some time now, and im not used to the idea of all the visual improvements applied on them, but i fucken' loved this.

The scenery, texturing, colors, and shading were all great, as was the atmosphere and whatnot. But the framerate ruined it for me. This is a problem unique to movies released only in wmv/youtube form, if they aren't well-captured, it fucks up the whole thing.

I urge you to produce a better capture of this. I'll watch it again and give a much better review if you do.

wow I dunno how I missed this. great work...it's just mind-boggling how far such a small community has managed to take this program.

but yes, the frame rate was a killer. if this isn't a problem inherent to the retexturization - which it doesn't seem to be - surely you can get a better capture of this? it would certainly be worth your time.

edit: hahahaha aaron, 38% is a little harsh!

I did release a thread asking for someone to capture for me...
I did the best capture I could, but obviously my PC was too slow to get a good framerate...

If I was to get another capture of this, I'd have to complete re-do the sounds, because I don't think I have the original Sony Vegas file.

See if you do, and upload the movie file along with the settings for the shading you did, because a movie this good shouldn't be marred by a technical problem this bad. Someone else can capture, and I will if no one else does. Even if you have to redo the sound, I think it's worth the trouble.

Phil: Imagine an otherwise good movie that uses the dissolve transition in every scene. It's frustrating as hell. The establishing shots especially were horrible, going at less than 1fps at some points. If it had been a minor annoyance, fine, but I almost turned it off 10 seconds in.

Nice work. Interesting choice with the frame blurring; not the most optimal solution to 3DMM's framerate, but it works for this movie, I think, for the most part.

heh, that was actually an unintentional outcome that came with exporting as DivX, but I thought it worked pretty well with the whole Horror style, so I kept it.

This was stylistically one of the coolest applications of 3DMM that I've ever seen.
