Would of been better if it was posted at the "height" of the main thread.

I expected more though...

I go through life every day on a depressing slope knowing that there's a Tom Bown out there ready and willing to spill any real or figurative beans about me to everyone who cares to read.

Luckily I haven't given too much to chew on..

you confide in Tom Bown?

or are you equating Tom Bown to Jamie Chapman and thus yourself to Cal Flavell?

either way that is terrible

To be honest I don't remember writing ANY of that, but so much of it references people I knew and strangely vivid extrapolations of things I did, that it must be real. And I can totally see how Jamie thought it'd be hilarious to post.

Looking back on that now, most of the references to boring adventures I had... well, they're all real, but seen through the eyes of somebody who was really convinced that he was cooler than everybody else and that these everyday dumbass teen things were awesome.

It's like looking at the past superiority complex of somebody I am severely embarrassed to have ever been. But then again, most people I know hate who they were at 15.

most of the time yeah, who remembers when I was a rampant 15 year old Anti-Drug advocate. I'd get into these big stupid online arguments with weed smokers who were just baffled at my irrationality towards the subject.

I was basically socially insecure at 15. It sucked.

Nah, my only superiority complex relates to some of the asshats I work with. If you equate "strong opinion about music or film" with a superiority complex, then everybody on the internet must have one, lol.

Also Andres, my journal posts have been pretty brief for a while now, chief. I'm not home all that often though, so I post pretty much once a week.

On that point also, the reason my journal is friends-only is because somebody who had been reading my journal tried to get me in trouble at work over some comments I made. I remembered what happened to Sammy and decided to opt for privacy.
