Movie Showcase Roulette

In an attempt to make things a little more interesting, get people a bit more active in 3dmm, and fill in some missing statistics in the archives simultaneously, we're going to start stickying past movies for a brief period of time, so that they appear on the front page.

We encourage you to watch them if you haven't seen them, and re-watch them and add your thoughts and rating to the thread. If you feel up for it, add a review as well, it would be nice to see the Review Archive flesh out a bit.

Use this thread to comment on this idea, make suggestions as to the length of time to keep movies up, and suggest movies to appear on the roulette.

Hope this proves to be somewhat entertaining, and please do watch, comment, and rate the movies that get showcased, even if it's just a sentence or two.

The first movie I'm going to start with is Dave Miles' Mr. Green.

I think it would also help to upload an AVI youtube link for each one, so that lazy people would also watch.

I LIKE THIS IDEA.

I'd say keep the movie up for a week because that's when most sites would update back in the day.

A week seems like the best bet, that way everyone will know when there's going to be a new one.

I didn't get a chance to comment on "missing" by Mike Storch, which was one of my favorite movies, so if that gets stickied I'd be happy.

I'd personally like to dig back a little farther than that and highlight more obscure stuff, but yeah, that's a good pick.

No.

Generations might be good for a laugh, though.

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner, I went home for the break and didn't get my computer set up until this afternoon.

This week's movie is Missing, written by Andres and directed by Mike Storch, put up at Jon Steele's request. It's gotten a fair amount of feedback, but don't let that stop you if you haven't seen it yet.

Use something by Redwampa next. GITS, maybe? I don't think many new people have seen that.
