Cal Flavell was and is AWESOME.

haha, looking back on these, I loved the Rudi-Cal Flavell comedy dynamic. Cal Flavell would say something completely ridiculous about metal genres or something and Rudi would just be like "* buries face in hands *"

A Better Tomorrow 2 = Chow Yun Fat, Ti Lung, Leslie Cheung, Dean Shek and Kenneth Tsang kill 120 people with a variety of guns (and a samurai sword).

The Killer = Chow Yun Fat and Danny Lee kill 120 people with a variety of guns (and a kitchen knife).

Hard Boiled = Chow Yun Fat and Tony Leung kill 230 people with a variety of guns.

I don't think there's any moments in those films that AREN'T badass.

He's right, those movies rock.

No-ones disputing the quality of the films, more that it's such a Cal thing to recommend John Woo movies on their kill count.

Yeah, Lohr, I don't think you GET this thread. It's not necessarily that everything Cal says is WRONG or DUMB or whatever...it's just his hilarious personality. We all love him.

The reason we find Cal's quotes so entertaining is because he has this completely undeserved superiority complex, which he is all too proud to display in every single post on this forum. It's his obliviousness to this ridiculous aspect of his personality that amuses the community.

okay i have a confession. that wasn't Cal. but i read this and IMMEDIATELY believe this person must've been inspired by the Good Word of Our Lord Cal.

if you come across any quotes that you deem to be "In Cal's Image", please post them but acknowledge they are merely prophets of Cal and his flock.

Haha, I did that with Bown's post early on. Also I'd probably have quite a few of these.

Indeed. They're all basically the same, but 3 is the best.
