OH MY GOD FIRST POST

Edit: That was amazing. The humour, the animation, the music everything*.

My highlight:

The blind man looking at his hand. I have no idea why, but that was ultra funny

*Except for voice quality. Your mic must be terrible.

Hahahaha. This movie is full of so many LOL moments. It was brilliant - the animation, the humour, everything, which is as much as I expected for a movie about a man who has a magic foot. It also had some of the worst british accents I've ever heard, which was a bit... strange. But whatever. Top marks.

That was so perfect.
Best film since Vlarion, period.

Animation on the effects was awesome, scenery was good, but obviously not mind-blowing. That didn't take anything away from the whole experience though.
The in-jokes were great, obviously I wasn't to get them all, but I'm sure most of the older 3dmm members will find them plenty more amusing.

Loved it Dan.

The animation was great, loads of good voices which was nice because the movies have lacked voices in the film fest.

Didnt really realise how much at I laughed at this until the movie finished and I felt sick from laughing so hard.

This is easally up there with your other movies Dan if not better than your others in a number of areas., especially the timing of the jokes.

That was fucking brilliant, I would have to say your strongest movie to date. This had none of the awkward silences some of your movies have had and the highest laugh/holy shit to runtime ratio I think I've ever seen for an action movie.

Full review for this bitch, soon.

Someone mirror this. I don't want to have to download rapidshare when I'll never use it.

Rapidshare isn't a download, it's a file storage site (providing a mirror shortly though).

Edit: Mirrored.

That other web server of mine wasn't configured to host .rar files properly. I've since fixed it, so that shouldn't happen anymore.

Ok, so I just watched. I did enjoy it, but the movie feels like one massive in-joke that Dan, Jpro and Orcus were the only ones privy to. Top notch animation and some really funny bits The burning building kick, the neck snap in the bonus movie made up for that, but this movie felt a lot less accessible than it could have been.

Haha, that was pretty great. Made me laugh here and there, animation and design were, as always, very impressive.

There were a couple points when animations went longer than the voices, breaking up the flow of the movie and really damaging it so you lose points.

...2 points. 98/100

I was indeed laughing and whoaing the whole way, awesome awesome awesome

When I grow up I WANNA BE JUST LIKE DAN!...
in animating terms, not in appearance .

HE truly is the best there is.
so yeah this movie completely ruled. It was awesomely animated, had awesome music, awesome voices, funny as hell and it was AN AWESOME length. 20 minutes is a very good length for a crazy action movie.

I thought the Q and A was genius, and the Anders counter snap was hilarious

This movie is truly an inspiration, and it teaches us that ALL problems can be solved by kicking

0.9.7/1

This was amazing. Yeah as people have said great aniamtion blah blah extremely funny blah, but yeah I didn't think it was too 'injokey' at all, having seen the "origional" pretty much invited you in to the jokes. But yeah the whole fast-paced crazy thing is great, I look forward to episode 2.

The Q&A makes it seem more complex of an in-joke than it really is. Having seen Orcus's original (with and without Dan's voices), the experience isn't significantly richer knowing the in-joke. Honestly, it seemed more accessible than I was expecting. Any of the adapted jokes from Orcus's original were sold as legitimate silly moments thanks to Dan's comic timing and voicework (and there were surprisingly few of them to begin with).

Yes, but for months now this Jim McGraff has been doing the rounds on the board, just being mentioned by anyone privy to it. I don't get any sense of why this guy exists or why he's so interesting that he gets his own series. Sure it's a PAM, but I want to at least know why he's the centre of attention, and there wasn't any reason why he is.
