Oh this is shit.
I know another story about trust from me:
These holiday I wanted to work, because of my driving license, car and stuff. So my friend told me about a job he was going to work to in the holidays, he told me that he could pick me up on his way every day. So I was like "awesome" and managed to get it. I was supposed to start 2 weeks later than my friend and I asked him one day before if there'd be problems with picking me up and he said no everythings allright and he will be there next day, he told me time and stuff. The next day I stood up early packed my things and thought he'd come in a moment.... I waited... 15 minuted before my shift he still wasn't there. I called him but he didn't answer the phone, after a while he simply put it off. I didn't know what to do because there was no other way to get there in time. After hesitating a while I called there and told them I wont come today. Later that day I called him again and he told me that he had no car and couldn't call me because there was no money on his phone (so why didn't he answer my calls then?). He said it'd be no problem and I'll come tomorrow and everythings just fine and he told the head that I was supposed to come tomorrow and not today. I thought ok, so it will be no problem. The next day I came there and they told me like they need reliable people and it seems that one couldn't rely on me at all. They gave me my stuff back and boot me out. Shit. Now I've got nothing just because I thought I could simply rely on one of my best friends. A harsh breach of trust from a good friend. I know it wasn't all his fault but you feel pretty pissed when you're just left in the lurch in a situation like this.
After I told him what happened he was like "What a pity!" but didn't apologized to me at least one time at all.
My mother was pretty annoyed about that whole story and that I wouldn't be able to pay driving lessons again. Anyway I got a new job now, I'm working since monday. I get more money than I would in the other job and I gotta work longer the day but anyhow I get twice as much this way and everythings fine now.
But one the whole this just sucked.

Did he say he'd call 911? Or alert the police. There are international internet laws that are for cases like this, especially with companies like myspace. Although, I'm sure the best he could do is get you banned. But if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't send anymore messages/contact him. I had a friend over here doing something similar over AIM to someone in Australia, and he was arrested.
