Plot Summary:
An old wagon finds new vitality through a renewed sense of purpose in this animated musical short.

Made in about three weeks. Lots and lots of pre-production in Adobe Illustrator and Paint.

It's a little different than most of my releases, but at the same time.. no it's not. The big difference is that it's my only real release over the last two years. I suppose this is my first real v3dmm feature, bar previews or whatever. I made it up as I went along, and never had a real vivid picture of what was going to happen next. I lucked out with a semi-coherent story if one is able to make any sense of the chronology.

Requirements
3D Movie Maker
Frankie's 3dmm Expansion Pack 1
Doraemon Expansion
Nickelodeon Expansion
v3dmm

That was really cute. Great job. I adore the style by which you created all the backgrounds. Plus, you have great character designs, as always.

Really nice. Reminded me of the game 'Viewtiful Joe' a bit.

Just one thing... Comic Sans is just unacceptable, it's like the Uwe Boll of the fonts. I don't know a single person who doesn't hate that font with a passion.
Don't mean to be harsh but it's like the font that either a 6 year old kid or a 14 year old girl uses. It's considered a classic no-no, amongst other classics like red font on blue background, yellow font on blue background, a corps bigger than 12 for textfields and things like that.

You're right, the text/color in this movie is just atrocious. I was under the delusion that I was saving time by just using the text defaults, but it probably would've just been better to use two minutes and find something that would've worked. In too much of a rush to get it done and out, I guess.

This movie makes me wish I would've done the palette stuff, because the actual pictures of the backgrounds and characters actually have color. I appreciate the comment though, because I easily spent half the time just on Illustrator

It was aesthetically brilliant, but I didn't get what was going on.

Bah, using Illustrator is so smart! Can't believe I didn't think of that. I liked this A LOT, the atmosphere is always top notch and you score everytime when it comes to emotions and feelings. Innovative and stylish, sure has hell inspired me. The animation was BEAUTIFUL.

The style of the whole thing was just so beautiful and intriguing, I felt really absorbed when I was watching it and that's obviously something that should happen.
I liked the suttle mix of styles, from the Illustrator drawn stuff to the 3dmm style Red Wagon, it was great, really great.

...Why is this stickied?

Anyway, this was beautifully made. Doesn't hardly even look like 3dmm at all. Gorosaurus does it again.

New releases that aren't shitty newbie movies are always stickied. I guess not realizing that is understandable, though.

Hahaha, I was thinking, "Look at the moderators, always sticking their own movies like that." I wasn't surprised to see Mario Saga 2 stickied, but this threw me back a little.

Goro, it's great to see you finally getting some mileage out your hand-drawn animation skills via v3dmm.

I'd be interested in seeing more of this style of work from you.

Yeah, me too. Seeing this wanted me to not only actually finish Silly's, but make it look really good, too. And I plan on carrying that out....

Thanks for the comments, guys! It was really weird animating over a 2D background, and let me tell you- that brings lots of weird complications, too.

You would've really loved Spaceman Carl last Christmas. Darn irresponsible v3dmming! I should still be able to get that out this year, though. I think the style works a lot better there, where each scene is drawn out and planned well in advance

See this as an example.

Anyway, I thought this was a really cute, fun little film, with a great visual style. As I said before, if you don't end up with a career in art or animation there's something wrong with the world.
