If you used an imaging program to fix up some screenshots of the n3dmm scenes with proper colors and then used the right zbuffers, we COULD have n3dmm scenes in there, but not as actual scenes... as, well, hacked versions that look and act just like the regular scene would. Improvisation.
You could use the old zbuffers, as Frankie did as an example on Page 2.

So is it now possible to use the charaters/props from n3dmm without the colour problem?

Right now, no. The textures are not stored as a MBMP. And thats all we are doing here is creating MBMPs and importing them.

Here's a rar file containing 52 different backgrounds from Spider-man Cartoon Maker, they aint 'great' quality, but pretty nice and useful. Mostly streets and houses and other c0ol stuff.

Would be nice to see in 3dmm.

Mirror 1 (2.89 MB)
Mirror 2 (2.89 MB)

What ones do you especially think would make good scenes? 52 is just too much. Trying to keep variety high and file size down.

I think sky scenes would be the most useful. With the regular scenes, eventually, everyone will have them, and then soon they'll be the same as the original default scenes. Plus, you can't move object behind the objects in the scene.

There is something about the quality of the images that wouldn't look good in 3DMM. Do you have high res versions of those images?

I think we should get some that are like inside rooms of houses, like a Bathroom. I hate the 'Haunted House' one.

Well, I downloaded the scenes from the link on the first page, where do you put the files into? Do you have to "extract to the specified folder"? If you do, where do you extract it to?
By the by, these new scenes have to overwrite an old scene? <:c(

You put them in your "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Kids\3D Movie Maker\" directory. (They don't overwrite scenes, unless you have the 3dmm+N3dmm hack installed, as far as I know)

Nah. Not even if you have the n3DMM pack. This pack runs on its own ID set which I don't think is used anywhere in current 3dmm data files. So it should'nt conflict with anything.
