Holy crap, that was fantastic.

I actually think this is the best work I've seen from you yet. Full review tomorrow.

Edit: How long did this take?

Thought of the idea about a month ago. Started to write it down a week later. Took about 2 weeks to make it.

An interesting thing to note:
I'm currently in a Holocaust class in school which is where this idea spawned from.

There must be something wrong with me, because that ending was exactly what flashed into my head the first time I saw them do their job..."READY *hits button* *gas noises*" I mean, gas chambers. Haw, it flashed through my head, I was making a sick joke to myself. Chastised myself for tastelessness, back to the movie...and then...that's the ending anyway? Interesting.

Hahahaha, very good. But I can't help feeling repeating the "buzzer/ready" sound at the end would have been nice and dramatic, a missed oprtunity methinks..But yes, pretty clever, and well written. Motivating.

That was really great, the only negative thing I could really think of was exactly what Cubert said. Very good film.

Very decent film I must say. I've always loved the way you direct Mike and the greyscale was a nice touch. My only complaint would be I could almost sense the ending was gonna end with someone dying. At first I thought it might've been the one guy helping the other guy kill himself cause his wife left him but the actual ending caught me a little off guard, but it wasn't as shocking as you might've wanted. Actually now that you think about it the way the guys just walked off like "Hey let's just go to lunch" made it eerier in the scheme of the point of the movie.

So bottom line, nice little short. I'd love to see more.

This is exactly, EXACTLY what I thought.

An excellent movie, probably one of your best works, Mr. Storch.

I really liked that. Really great atmosphere, nice to see something with a darker theme around here for a change, although that is usually to be expected from Mike. Pretty chilling movie, well done.

I really wasn't shooting for it to be massively shocking actually. I kind of wanted the viewer to be thinking in the back of their mind "there's something wrong here" or "there's something more to this." I was going more for unsettling rather than shocking.

Hey Storch. I have not watched a 3dmm movie in close to a year, and this is the film that finally got me off my lazy ass to download all the expansion packs and re-install them. So yes, first 3dmm movie in ages for me.

And I'm glad I took the effort. This is the best short film I've seen in quite some time. The look of it was excellent, I really liked the dialogue between the two, and I admittedly didn't see the ending coming at all. The ending is great because it makes you re-think the dialogue that you just heard, it gives the dialogue a strange irony, and makes the audience completely re-evaulate the characters and try to make sense of their philosophies based on their profession.

This is probably the kind of movie that can be viewed a second time and have more of an appreciation. Kind of like Fight Club, you know the ending and you play the game of spotting the clues and say like, "Wow, how did I not see that ending coming?" That kind of thing.

Very nice work, Storch. I just may get back into 3dmm movies after all.

That alone makes it worth the effort.

And I'm very happy with the response. This is the first time in years that I've actually written a movie myself, and I was uncertain on how well it'd turn out.

Whilst I still admire your work Mike, there was something about this movie I didn't like as much. I don't know, I think it lacked the genuine Storch feel. The ending didn't motivate me as much as your previous works have. Having said that though, this is still magnificent and I eagerly await your next film.

Well in that case that'd definitely the feeling I got. Awesome job.

Dude. Okay, I had NO idea what this ending would be when I voiced it. In fact, I was wondering what the hell the point of the movie was. Well played, sir.

Great writing and voice acting and direction. This was a sweet little film. I it supposed to be a holocaust reference? I don't like it as much if it is, in fact I'd prefer it to be more of a futuristic overpopulation type of thing, I mean clearly they didnt' look like nazis. I think the deaths should have been in a different way than toxic gas just because of the symbolism behind it. But it was a great watch and I'm going to go watch it again!
