Alternate Vlarion 2 - Dark Anticipation
Aaron Haynes's Avatar
Plot Summary:
Following the destruction of the AT, Dask and Jack attempt to regroup and stay one step ahead of Rosal's forces. As a pivotal moment in the fight arrives, however, reality begins to shift slightly, and a uncertain alternate future plays out.

I'm still not entirely sure if there's a perfect way to do this, though I did come up with something better while creating a plan for the remakes. It's worth noting that I hated the subtitle even when I thought of it.

Aside from a different intro and some choice cosmetic changes, the first 80% of this movie is identical to Vlarion 2. The pivotal shift that sets off the Alternate timeline happens late in the movie, so I wanted to have the context for that shift available for whoever felt like watching it all the way through. This led to some awkward reviews. If I'd done this today, I'd definitely have provided scene numbers for a more economical viewing experience. Even in full-blown RPG savant mode, I'm still not sure what I was thinking by not doing this in 2000.

I'll admit. I didn't watch the whole thing. I just skipped to where Will Cheyney said it was different. I didn't quite know what to think of it, basically because I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ANYMORE.
So I'm not entirely sure what to think of this, and I think it warrants a re-watch. I just realized during the course of this that I'm going to need longer than 4 hours.

I'm not sure if the runtimes are accurate. I suspect calcruntime fumbles horribly on these movies.

There's a tool for that?
I'm sure I saw AV3 because if I only watched the end of this, I would have moved on right away.
But I'll rewatch it.

Any possibility of a wmv of this? I want to watch it again, but vista fucks midis up, and that kind of ruins the movie.

I like the end the most (Because it was the only part edited).
