"Untitled Flash Project" Teaser
Cubert's Avatar
Plot Summary:
Just a little test animation, in light of the season of giving I thought I may as well share it.

Just a little test-teaser thing I threw together. It's a teaser mind, not a demo. Other than a play button this is in no way interactive. There's also no preloader, so either Right Click and Save As, or if you want to be awkward just open the file in a new window and let it load for a minute. Like I say, there's a play button, so don't worry about it starting without you. If you choose to play this in your internet explorer, please open it in a new window and try to make sure the window is roughly the same size as the preview picture. This wasn't designed at all for full screen, and will look awful if you watch it that way. Slower PC's might not have the "load clip" shot quite in sync.

This doesn't require anything to play but an internet explorer of some sort.
Merry Christmas all.

Some smooth shit there, but you used Flash, so i'm not sure how impressive it is. Looks cool though.

Okay, a basic shot breakdown so people can rest-assured I didn't "cheat" too much;

1- Table of Guns- All done in v3dmm. The lighting was done using the 'Lighted Hallway' vxp by Travis Wells.
2- Picking up gun- v3dmm
3- Load clip- was done in v3dmm, imported as a wmv rather than a gif, which is why it's a bit smoother and may lag on some PCs.
4- Swingaround/Aiming- v3dmm
5- Pistol- This was a static image, camera shake was actually added in flash for this shot. Pretty much the only moment of "cheating" to acheive an effect.
6- Flash/Shot- The frame of his shooting was done in v3dmm, then the "flash fade out" was done in Flash.

But yeah, thanks for the comments!

I'd love to tell you all, but I'm not sure if Cubert wants the secret out or not, but this movie has a pretty darn cool gimmick to it.

I guess, but it's not mine, Travis Wells made it, so a Moderator would have to come and change the author. I'm sure I've seen that done though?

Not true. You just have to release it and in the text box under the summary write: "Made by Travis Wells", and a moderator would eventually change the "Created by ____________" to Travis's name. It's been done before.
