That was great! Brilliant voice acting, especially by Dustin. I really missed some music though.

Thanks anders, I appreciate it. Though, if I had another shot at the voices, I'd have done a LOT differently. It got a little...overdone at some parts.

But well done, Mike.

Whoa... spellbinding stuff.

Kind've reminds me alot of "Night of the Living Dead" in the sense it explores how something like a zombie outbreak can tear down human emotions.

Too much contrived dialogue. Dustin's voice acting, while well-suited at some points, sounded horribly overdone and unnatural at others. The dialogue in general seems really bizarre and erratic. Also, the whole movie feels like it's trying too hard to just throw as much shock value at the viewer as it possibly can. Too much teeth-gritting anger and not enough of any other kind of emotion to make me interested in these characters. Also, c'mon, considering how little there needed to be, you could have put a little more effort into the scenery. Too much ugly crosshatching and phony effects that make the whole thing even harder to take seriously.

3.5/10

P.S. Haha, I liked how as he collapsed the second man sort of went into a relaxed, laid-back pose for a split second. That made me laugh.

Speaking of scenery, you should use 3dmmAP. Some of the panning was a bit choppy.

Yeah, thats what threw me off the most. Apart from that I thought it was pretty good for a quick holiday flick, too bad it wasn't in a frightfest, though.

Err what can I say? HMC brought up some good points. It just didn't keep me interested, and was almost borderline cheesy. You've got skills, but this one just kind of fizzled for me.

Bumping stickied threads is fairly useless, but I'd love if more people watched this.

I quite liked this movie. The voice acting in particular.

I can't say I cared for this particular release. I mean, I appreciate that it's out there and I can appreciate the time that went into it, but it was pretty far from convincing. Maybe if it were a little more down-to-Earth things would be different, like making the man in power a reacting to a situation outside that doesn't really exist.

I did like how his character was changed from the usual authoritarian rule-setting kind to more of a please-be-my-friend-I-am-just-misunderstood kind. So that kind of made it stand out, and probably would have more if this piece were longer.

The scenery was fairly inconsistent, ranging from bad to passable, but always hovering an area of intentional use. If just a few scene-setting shots could be established, I feel that could've gone a long way. As it was, the writing was not strong enough to warrant such non-descript surroundings as an impromptu play might require.

In the end, I know that it might be hard to maintain focus on a situation that is not completely abstracted from actual life, but I implore you to try. A prisoner being held captive for food is bizarre enough, I don't feel there is any need to add more beyond that. Just add more to bring it home.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to throw a few 30-minute scenes our way, either.

I finaly watched this, and I liked it. The twist was sort of confusing at first (well, not really a twist, but you know what I mean), and it left some questions to be answered.

Who was the first man, then? Was he a zombie, the leader of the zombies, or is he a human eating the zombies?

Also, I loved the way the line "Shut the fuck up!" was delivered.

7/10

It was good and all, but there was a whole load of nothing happening, just scrolling over their faces a lot.

Yeah, because it was more focused on the dialogue than anything.

I was surprised actually at how well the script was. I thought it was really well written, and I honestly did not know Bown was into that whole script writing thing.

Some harsh reviews for this one! I thought Dustin's voices were done really well, and I didn't notice anything overdone at all. Michael did a admirable job at creating a chilly, dead, and hopeless atmosphere. I enjoyed this one. I wish I had watched it when it came out two months ago.
