Skitzophrenia

You have to ask the question, how the hell can you "review" Jaymond's first movie. Your answer is this is not a review. this is a deep, meaningful exploration of self discovery and a perpetually fine example of movie making at its best.

Fuck that, Skitzophrenia is nothing more than great fun. It's a sketch show, and Jaymond has nothing to prove, save that he's funny. And indeed he is, throwing us a great number of quality sketches. With hits such as 'the man who takes everything literally', the hungry cop, the Indian food clerk (with the funniest skit twist in the entire movie), and the tie shop. Everything is in its place, balanced with perfect timing, perfect acting and very few near misses. I say near, because every one of these are funny. Skitzophrenia captures mostly the inquisitive side of sketches, exploring irate humour at the most, and intelligent humour at the least. They are however, brilliantly devised and thought through carefully. Humour has never been so gratuitous and silly, at least not since the days of Toilet Humour and Baked Goods.

I'll say now. Don't think about it. Don't even have any expectations. Just go and watch the movie. And enjoy it.
