Yeah, I think so.

It's got a vibe coming off of it that's like, half Redwampa, half Ruiz. I love this movie. I fucking love it.

This is really top quality man, where did you get the texture thing u used?
man awesome movie I loved the fight scenes, the audio (great voice acting and musicalization and OMG the sound quality) and the fast fps rate was very cool. when I see movies like this is when I get ashamed of my own work lol. The terrorists are a little cliche but that's allright, u made fun of bush too haha.

Think you could post the movie file? I'd be interested to see it.

Sure thing--I'll probably post a zip with everything within the next week. I still need to dig through all the files to figure out which vxds belong to me and the ones that don't.

These were just some of the files used in the making of this film... so it's a gonna be a bit of a task.

I did all the sound editing in cakewalk so I'll have to make a wave file and chop it up and import it into separate scenes. Theres so much that has to load so there will definately be some sync issues. I also used 3dmmpencil to swap out some of the textures on the expansions so if you do decide to check it out, make sure to check your files and make backups.

On a side note: I wanted to ask if anyone here has a good collection of handguns I might be able to use for my next film. There's a lot of really cool automatic weapons here, (the desert eagle is really cool but I'm not too crazy about the big torch attached on the bottom). If someone can send me a link with some that would be awsome!

Thanks!

Yeah, I know. I just wanted to show ya those files too. I was shocked to see how many files I ended up using just to make 6 and a half minutes of animation... I'll post some screenshots of the film in the next couple of days.

Btw, I want to thank Ferret for making that awesome expansion. I can only imagine the sheer amount of work that must have went into it. I can definately see myself using those in many films to come...

Also, thanks to whoever uploaded the movie file and info... danke!

Jesus Christ, this was the best thing I've seen in a long time.

This was incredible. Everything about it was perfect.

The frame rate... how did you do that? I mean, I realise how you did it, but how did you know how long to animate for to add the voices etc? Is it just twice as fast so you timed twice as long?

This thing is incredible!!! Just ARGH! Everyone in the thread is saying to watch it, so after getting like halfway down I thought I better grab it and see what all the fuss is about, and now I'm right there on the bandwagon with everyone else, trying to get across just how completely awesome this thing is!

Actually, when I first loaded it up, and saw the skateboard clip, I remembered that from a while ago when you posted it, and remebered being excited about seeing your movies, but just dismissed it as a one off cool newbie animation that we'd never hear more from ever again. I was proved so wrong it hurts!

The matrix bit is without a doubt the best matrix sendup in 3dmm ever. It was so perfect.

This is so annoying, because I feel like I have to match this quality now, which I know I can't.

Also, the punching and arm movements!!!! They put my own default character movement to shame!!! Tell me they were seperate moving arm peices and not just the actors positioned different, TELL ME!

Yeah, I basically took different poses from different actions that matched what I was looking for. Don't worry... it definately took some time to make it look right. As for the making the sound match the action, most of it is just basic trial and error.

Raidis, any chance you could post the .vmm? Unless the voices would be out of sync or something.

I haven't seen a 3dmm movie in couple of years because I don't wanna install it, so thanks for the AVI. And holy shit, I didn't know movies looked that good these days.

It was awesome seeing the Mount&Blade models being used, mainly because I played the game so much, it's fun to see it all in a theatrical environment.

I've added a YouTube link to the mirrors, haven't [youtube]'d it because it should really be viewed in full-screen. I'm hoping to do this with a lot of movies, as part of the whole 'extending the audience' of 3dmm movies thing. Raidis, if you hate YouTube for whatever reason, I'll take it down straight away.
