Emo Kids
Plot Summary:
The story about a kid named Adam Apple and his attempts to "fit in" and "get the girls" by hanging out with the emo kids at the high school.

It took me awhile to make this, but its now here. Sorry if it seems a little out of date, it was written last year. Please give me comments, thoughts, and review.

Thanks

Dave Smith

I haven't seen the movie, but fucking.......what?

Emo supporters? Because they didn't like your piece of shit movie? (I'm assuming it's a piece of shit because you're Dave Smith and every single movie you have made on this program has been a piece of shit.) Grow up.

God, I hope Andrew Murphy doesn't see this thread, or we're gonna have a HUGE fanwank on our hands.

Almost everyone in the movie was actually gay, though.

However I agree with you, but you're how old? Averaging 6 posts a day on a forum where you loathe 99% of its members?

Okay, so I average 4 posts a day, but I'm 15. So.. I'm... allowed?

Ok, this movie showed off some interesting stereotypes between teenagers, like the kind of music and clothing stores, but this whole thing about bisexual and homosexual emo kids was too massive in the movie that it started to make the movie grotesque. I understand this true thing about heterosexually challenged emo kids that consider themselves straight, and this movie was making fun of it, but in a massive and grotesque way, so that's the bad thing.

Uh, you do realise that the pathetic gay jokes and such are really the basis of emo humour? Hypocracy!

Personally, I think homosexuality is a natural form of population control. You should see what happens when certain animals overpopulate. Rabbits get "White Blindness," while some insects will utterly REFUSE to eat food and starve to death (ants). For humans, is it homosexuality?

A part that I found funny was when the guy on the stage at the concert says "Did I hear someone say they need an emo hug?"

Apart from that, the movie was all one big mediocre joke that dragged on to a length of creepiness, this was like more than a half an hours worth of storyline which is supposed to be a joke. I don't know, I agree with Andres's post, the fact that this emo lifestyle would be on someone's mind to this extent that isn't emo themself, is just really weird and creepy.

It was pretty "thin". For a short it would have been weak, but 31 minutes. I have to admit I only watched up to scene 65, so really I'm not allowed to comment. But unless the last 20 scenes suddenly got a hell of a lot better, it's quite bland. Good scenery, I suppose. But I've onyl just got into custom scenery (OMG cubert UR SUCH A n00b!1!1!) so to me all custom scenery is amazing. So pretty well animted, just such a slow storyline that literally sometimes went backwards rather than progressing. May I ask, do you use cannabis? This had the feel of one of those cannabis-induced inspirations that never end.

I'm actually kind of excited to watch this. I look forward to seeing how emo kids are ripped into.

I myself am not an emo kid, but I sure do love that emo music.

I hope Dave nailed down the people who constantly change their MSN names to put in some emo quote from an emo song. I have one guy on my MSN list...every time he changes his MSN name, it's a different quote from a different Dashboard Confessional song. Only dashboard...no one else.

I hope he nails down some good stereotypes and doesn't just make them look really gay. But we'll see. I'll watch it probably tonight.

Uhh.....

Yeah okay, he's made a lot of really shity movies, but he's made some pretty damn good ones as well. I don't like his horror movies that much, but I have liked some of his comedies. Well...with his comedies, it's very hit and miss. Sometimes you have to sit through some really stupid jokes, but when it finally hits a funny one...it's really fucking funny.

His best film though is still "My last day in Normandy" by far. I suggest seeking that one out.

Haha, this was a great movie! Firslty I love your style its so 2/3 years ago and it's like you just don't CARE, to be honest I was so suprised to see it wasn't a V3dmm shows how obbssed this community is with fancy things. This was plain simple and got its point across. It WAS a little long winded though and I wasn't sure if it was a comedy or some sort of documentry, it was funny because the characters took what they were saying so seriously but as there was lots of emo music in it I thought Dave Smith might be showing his emo side or something, I DUNNO. The best bit to me was the jeans, 'Just because it says women section doesn't mean its just for women. But yeah by the time it go to the cafeteria endings it had been a bit too long. Also on the concert scene the music was too loud to hear what was going on. Sorry for typos.

7.5/10

I hearby decree myself a Dave Smith fan. Screw anyone who has ago at me for liking old skool, graphics arn't anything.
