Realistic Weapons Soundpack V1.1
Pirate Balloon's Avatar
Description:
At least 31 weapons here, which range from assult rifles to pistols to shotguns. Each weapon has firing, reloading and cocking sounds. Each weapon also has at least 2 variants to its firing sound. Includes grenades (smoke, HE, flashbang) and some explosions.

Yep. The vast majority are in single burst, so you can edit them using a sound editing program to fire as fast as you want, or just do this in 3dmm, frame by frame. I feel this gives you a little more control to your sound syncing. However, there is a burst fire sound for the FAMAS, and the Glock 18. I think the smoke grenade sounds are particually useful .

I dunno about you, but i dont like hearing the same few weapon sounds used over and over again.

NEW VERSION, 1.1. PLEASE DOWNLOAD.
New features:
I reorganised the lot. Now files have been renamed, or put into folders. It should be much easier and quicker to find the sound you're looking for now.

For weapons that had a lot of sounds, i split them into folders. Now you wont be going through every sound file to find the one you want:

And for ones with a few sounds i just tweaked the file names a bit so you can see exactly what each sound is.

Great!

Now all we need is a CS-converted weapons pack.

I tried converting some old CS models when I used to mess around with Milkshape.. but I've since lost most of them.. Nice work on the sound pack!

Awesome.

Footsteps, bursts of air, impact sounds, and ambient loops would be great if you have any lying around.

Yeah, as just kind of a "general" soundpack or something.

And I'd imagine everybody wants them, since they all complained that I used some of 3DMM's sound library in Vlarion and it was like the movie actually crawled out of the monitor and killed their children. SORRY, bitterness. But yeah, this would be awesome.

The perverse pleasure you get out of trying to irritate me must be incredible. You touched yourself when you wrote that post, didn't you.
