Butane and the Attack of the Evil CO2 Molecules
Getysburg's Avatar
Plot Summary:
Barry Butane, a hydrocarbon, goes on a quest to lower the emissions of evil CO2 gas and save the O-zone so that all life on Earth can continue.

This is a presentation I had to show in chemistry at college, I thought I might as well release it here to as a few 3dmmers starred in it. Yes it is a v3dmm because the v3dmm character is designed to look like this friend of ours in our chemistry class. Some of it is VERY boring especially the disclimer but this is a splash screen so the movie runs well so its advised you attempt to survive it, If you do find it so boring you want to swtich it of and die, then just skip to the start of act III (first scene after the purple scenes) as this is the climatic bit.

Nominated for BEST SCIENCE FICTION in the 7th annual 3dmm.com Awards 2005.

Haha, quite entertaining. Although there were a few obvious spelling mistakes. That, and I didn't like the voice of Barry Butane. Otherwise it was rather good.

Some parts got a little tedious, but i expected this from a school project. However, there where many amusing parts to keep me watching it, like Perry and Sammy's voice was just awesome. So in all, yeah, it was good.

haha that was cool. Sammy's voice was my favorite. Yeah and Perry's parts were awesome too. Do your classmates/teachers ever ask you "who the hell is Sammy Sagitarius?" or anything like that?

Ok today we had everything ready but then...all the school projectors were being used! so we did a boring titration insted, which was 25.85 for anyone who cares (I didnt, I just like the groovy purple colour it goes) So NOW were gonna show it next week, I'll tel you if they did then, I hope they do to.

Thanks for the reviews

If someone DOES ask "Who the hell is Sammy Sagitarius?" I hope you realize the correct response is "Eh... just some fag... you know... Next question?"

JUST WATCHED IT, AND...:

That was exceptional, man. I was quite impressed, really.

The bad parts, as pointed out, are barry butane's voice acting and the few and far between awkward moments.

However, this whole movie was very funny and easy to sit through, actually. I didn't find it boring at all.

And your music choices -- excellent. I wish I had the patience to sift through and find perfect music like you must've done... either that, or you have a collection of score and song that I need to get my hands on.

Cool beans.

Again, pretty slick flick.

Thats kinda what I ment, when i said it was a tad tedious, i ment becuase it was for school, you know, gotta have school stuff in it, but i think you did a good job on keeping it interesting.. If that makes sense. I LOVE the jazz.

And hey, doesn't anybody wonder who the hell I AM?

...Just kidding man.

hey, I learned stuff. the animation could have been better at times. And I didn't like Butane's voice. it was too light. but yeah, quite good for one made for school.

I actually found it boring, apart from Perry's part. That was what made the movie funny. The disclaimer was also good at the end. Mabye its because I don't understand chemistry that I found it boring. Cute hmcs though, though the animation could have been better. The voices were all samey though, I couldn't tell who did who.

6/10 If Perry's bit wasn't there, I'd give it 4/10

OK SO TODAY I FIANLLY SHOWED THIS TO MY CLASS

They got most of the jokes and laughed almost non-stop, with Perry saying, 'I laughed so much I thought i was goin to cry.' Also Toby shoke my hand and miss invited all the lab technicians in to watch it as well so it went down quite well.

And yes people asked who Sammy and Kayl were

So now Ive made a AVI version for the science department (which is huge and almost the same quality as 3dmm) and a WMV version for some of my class, which due to Camtasia Studios is only 8mb although it runs a little choppy but the sound qualitys perfect.

It was more along the lines of, 'Just someone I know,' and ,'Some voice actor,'
