The Memory
Scarecrow's Avatar
Plot Summary:
As a man is about to face the one who wronged him, he remembers the event that lead him to that point.

This was my first movie where my current style of directing began to show. I made this film in 2003, and all that I had made before were movies like Patrick Vs. Doreamon, Dew Fight, and a hand full of BAMs.

Although my style is apparent, it is at this point, extremely unpolished, and the movie itself has several problems and few things I would have changed were I making this movie now. (the biggest one being the annoying flashing sound that is heard constantly in the last half of the film) But despite these, I personnaly believe this is a nice little flick, and worth a watch.

It's also worth noting that the idea for Gnomes came during the making of this film, so The Memory holds a bit of personnal history for myself.

This is awesome. The suspense builds so well! It's great to see early work from you Mike, It'd be great if you could get a new movie out soon! Great stuff.

May I suggest using a different uploader? 3DMM studio isn't very reliable.

Awesome drama, but I'm not sure if this is going to be a hit.

Probably not, considering it's nearly four years old.

This was my first time ever attempting anything remotely cinematic. I do believe I relied heavily on the music and animated to the music in order to achieve whatever it was I was trying to achieve. I did that with Gnomes too I believe. It wasn't until Missing that I felt confident enough with myself to make the movie and then add in the music.
