Well, now all we need is a "Somebody in Uprising" movie! I aint gonna bother! I have an Awards movie, a movie about a toy monkey and an epic chain movie finale to work on.

Started today. Finished it today. Don't be fooled by it though, aint a last minute thing. I worked pretty hard on it in most parts. But I got lazy a few times and there are some boring parts which I couldn't be asked to do anything with. Hope you enjoy it.

I was originally going to parody Uprising. But now that every man and his dog has jumped on the bandwagon with a half-arsed effort it looks like I may as well give up.

Why doesn't anyone ever parody SC or MC? God, SC alone is ripe for parody.

You did maybe a twentieth of the altering you could have done. And what about the humor that you DID do? It was all either A) Direct insults at Aaron (fuck you and your repeated 'BORING' statements) B) immature even for someone your age (fart jokes? What the hell) C) downright stupid (You make a comment about his grammar at the beginning of the movie and then go on to make maybe a dozen errors yourself?) D) Kinda funny. Yeah, I admit that your first couple conversation alterings weren't too bad at all, and I actually had some hope for ya after Doraemon ate Gelst and Dask's sneezing, but really, that was the last funny thing you ever did.

CONCLUSION: FAIL

And don't you DARE get downhearted from this, Destra. I trust you would do a good job with Uprising if you wanted to do it. The only half-assed efforts so far have been Ben and later parts of Mol movies when he loses inspiration and just cuts whole scenes, especially V2.

And Orcus, that's an idea. Well actually, hm I think the main reason MiV works is that the dialogue is in texts. A movie like SC or Satanik wouldn't work as well because it's all voices. I dunno. It wouldn't be impossible but definitely much less flexible.

WAHHHHHHHHOK I'm better. And I went into that post even trying to think happy thoughts. Still, 'fucked up' is probably the best way to describe it, especially if you decide not to downplay Uprise. Ing. A friendly kinda downplay of course. It rocks as much as AV3 if only for the camera movements during battle. Much heart.

Because SC and MC are comedies as themselves, while Vlarion is a very deep drama, which makes it all the funnier to edit.

Dear lord that was awful, for most of the reasons Denny gave. The aggressiveness of a lot of what you did wasn't so much fun as hugely unneccessary.

And there's nothing wrong with cutting parts out of the movie, guys. If you can't think of something funny then it's better to remove them in a moderately humorous way then keep them in tediously.

I didn't even have to watch the movie to know it was going to be bad. It's like.. no offence, Ben, but you're not the right person to do this sort of movie. You're not 'the right kinda funny' (or in most people's opinions, you're not 'funny').

well yeah, I cut a whole discussion on Vlarions at the start of DiAV, and the ending with the Cauldron Bomb, etc., my main point was where you said "fuck it" to the whole latter half of V2, y'see. But yeah you're right, yes.

I used to do these parody things a few years ago with some friends when we were bored. Although what we did was a lot closer to Pogo's Replay and KRB parodies, where we'd just do things like move an object at the start of a scene, change what 3d words said and just simply screw with some of the actors to see what it would look like. In the end we had things like a version of In The Box where random characters would sink into the ground along with scenes where certain actors can be heard but not seen.
