That was us. To be fair, though, we didn't steal it anymore than Powerplay did, since they were next in line by a huge margin.

I should talk to JP again about releasing Doom 3 unfinished. Some of the stuff we did for it was really fantastic. I could only guess where he would've taken it

Re-released as part of the 3DMM Preservation Project. Back in 2004, this was my all-time favorite 3DMM film, and it's still a strong contender today. Enjoy!

BTW, this is probably your best voice acting ever. I had a genuine "Who is that? They're really good, I have to check the credits" moment re-watching this. Nice work!

This actually holds up really well. Even with the silly 3D Movie Maker actors, some of the moments, like the Alexander character getting gibbed, are genuinely sort of disturbing. Honestly, the only part of the movie I don't like is Keaton's grappling hook gadget. It's such a silly, implausible thing to just have on you out of plot necessity. SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF RUINED.

I thought it was strange to have a gadgety moment in a movie like this, but it sorta makes sense to me because the character seems really resourceful. He's the only one who knows what's going on in both movies and seems like he's prepared to take over whenever members of his team start dying (he fired the missile in the first movie too). I like that he's this middle-aged agency director type who can do field stuff when he needs to. The team has a bunch of these gadgets they use to restrain Michael, and he grabs one. Made sense to me!

Oh man, the scenery in this is still so sexy! It must have been one of the first 3dmm movies to use that sort of cell-shaded style in every shot.

Great example of using basic 3dmm to great effect. This movie has a very stylized feel. Great pacing and a great soundtrack. A true 3dmm classic.

Just re-watched this and I think it's one of the few 3dmm movies out there that still holds up really well today. Every shot has such a high level of quality, the entire thing is polished to a mirror shine. Even outside the context of 3DMM, it's just a good film by its own merits. Dark and unusual, but really engaging. I always thought this series shouldn't have been called 'Doom' in the first place - it offers such a different experience to the videogame, there's no need to link the two.

And oh man, that ending. OH MAN. OH GOD. OH MAN.
