I'm usually not a Converse fan in the slightest. But I was messing around with that color your own, and I like this one.

I couldn't figure out how to get it off unisex.

All of the shoes mentioned in this topic so far are REALLY ugly. Retro-style is boring, time to settle with Nike.

Chuck Taylors are the best shoe ever.

Also, $60 for low tops? Ph. I can't stand lowtop chucks. I'm all about the classic hi's.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this your second shoes thread in like a fortnight?

I've had a pair of converse since around September 2004 and they're rubbish. After around six months a huge hole just appeared in the front of one of them and the sole would flap around all sorts...stepping in puddles was a bit of a bother so I've been wearing my 'proper' shoes ever since...

In conclusion get some other shoes.

My slippers finally wore out the other night . I wear them around town and the like, or just anywhere but college and work, so they take a lot of wear and tear. They were novely football boot slippers and I loved them but now they have no souls.

Edit: soles*

Skate shoes are the best. Comfy and they last a shit load of time. Well worth the money.

The only shoe company I really buy from anymore is Steve Madden. Very comfortable, and they're the kind of shoe where wear and tear doesn't take away quality, looks, and value; it actually adds to it.

That's the pair I'm currently wearing. Not the white ones, the brown ones...the third on the color selection.

THing is, that wasn't until they introduced the dual-layer canvas cons.

Old chucks would last a lifetime. I miss the 70's.

There is nothing feminine about novelty football boot slippers.

New Balance is the most comfortable if your on your feet all day. It beats the shit out or chucks, skating shoes and almost every other shoe.

And yeah, chucks are shitty, but they are stylish. Its just that everyone and their grandmother owns a pair.
