Blind Homicide Teaser Trailer
Richard Bevis's Avatar
Plot Summary:
The teaser trailer for my upcoming mystery thriller, Blind Homicide.

Send me lines people! And please note, you may wish to let it run through muted first or wait and restart the film or whatever because the expansions take a while to load, throwing the film out of sync with the music. Thanks.

That's a good trailer you have there. But there was no pre-catching scene at the beginning, I have noticed that a lot of people forget this. Without one, every time something v3dmm appears on the screen, it has to be loaded first. It doesn't take very long to load each one, but the music will be out of sync.

But yeah, the trailer was very good and i'm looking forward to this movie.

Mousenator beat me to it. I actually let it run once without watching so it would cache correctly.

But that was surprisingly good. The scenery was very well-made and several shots are excellently done. Nice job overlaying dialogue, most people who make trailers don't think to do this; I didn't quite understand what the plot was about, and the chronology didn't seem to make much sense, unless it was revealing what happened and then going back to show it happening, and I didn't know what character was what, but it was kind of intriguing anyway. Some shots are odd, like the guy hanging up the phone and turning around, I'm not sure what that was supposed to be about. Tension? Surprise? A significant look in a somber situation?

But overall, well-done. Looking forward to this, good luck.

Thanks guys, anyway here's how I made it. I had to make something decent with the material I have, and so I decided to make it more of a teaser trailer, than a full on trailer. So it tells of the basic plot through two characters first lines, (The ones which tell of the dead woman) and then I add random scenes more or less which don't entirely make sense just to add intrigue. Then I end with the scene with the main character walking into the house. That's when I added also random voices that just sum up the film and make it creepy, ending the whole thing with that eery voice. As for the pre-caching scene, I really should have put one in, I didn't realise. People will just have to like play it through first or something.

Impressive

What a great job! The beginning of the trailer is particularly convincing. The sunset, the scene of the street and the one with the coffee machine are great job. But the best thing in this trailer is the music: you couldn't have dreamt better! Could you please tell me where it's from? It made me think of the Ring, but I know it's not.
I'm definitely looking forward to watching this Blind Homicide, but take your time, make it the best 3dmm movie ever!

Sorry folks, this has been permanently shelved. And the music is taken from The Village soundtrack composed by James Newton Howard and is called "The Forbidden Line".
