Dylan's Forgotten Fate
Ben Rice's Avatar
Plot Summary:
Taking place before the events of The Handmade Character, Dylan Dummy is still an outcast in the HMC World, Christmas is near and Dylan's unfortunate fate in the events that follow show the birth of his first best friend, sticking by him all the way. (NOW ON YOUTUBE)

Well, I've been part of the 3dmm community for over a year now and it has been utter torture for you guys I know. So thats why I am leaving, this is the final 3dmm movie from me until I one day return to release TOATM.
Wishing you all a merry Christmas and all the best of luck.
This movie is SHORT. Long movie lovers stay the hell away, unless you like fairly good HMC animations.

I like the animation, Ben, but I don't get the plot.

How badly was he injured, and why did he recover so quickly? And who is this first best friend that you mention in the plot summary? The bear?

Well I really don't see why a goodbye movie is necessary. TOATM is one of the only features I'm actually looking forward to and it'd be a shame to see it not finished. You've got real promise with HMCs, Ben, you just need to stick to your own.

While this seems like a negative comment I'm getting tired of the NUTS squirrel and the BF atom and I must say Rayman and Merlitar are tied for "most featured HMC that hasn't starred in his own movie yet". The ending...well the whole thing felt really short and only featured one scene that didn't really make much sense unless it referred to:

Dylan (representing The Hand Made Character movie) not being accepted by the 3dmm community well so Merlitar striking him down was pretty much that whole situation.

Don't worry Orcus, you'll see Rayman in his own movie very very soon. So close. But Ben I really don't think your reasons for leaving is hardly enough reasons at all for you to leave.

Too bad, I'm leaving, nobody wants me here, nobody likes me or my work so have your champagne bottles, party poppers and the song "Celebrate Good Times" ready.

Ben you're beginning to do the same thing I used to do to myself in terms of my actual life. If you want the honest truth you're one of the only people actually still working here which amazes me. You've definitely progressed too which makes it even more of a shame that you've decided to leave.

Ben don't leave. We've already talked a fuck load about this, but there are a bunch of people who still want you here working hard on 3DMM movies.

Will watch it later.

Oh come on Ben, you seriously let the flaming or whatever get to you? If I did that then I'd be long gone.

STAY.

It's not just the constant flaming. I am sick of contributing loads of work and seeing thats it's a complete waste of time. Tom Bown said something very true, I am just like Dylan Dummy. I am an OUTCAST. I have lost all hope of becoming a good director for I know that is impossible to be. Whats the point in continueing when everybody hates you and your hard work goes to waste.
My answer is leaving.

Oh, fucking grow up, Ben. Quit wallowing in self-pity and scrounging attention from people and go out and FUCKING EARN SOME. Get your own damn self-esteem. You have the potential to be a great director if you'd just stop acting like a fucking child and take your criticisms like a man. You know who the last person to try to pull this was? RAMZA.

The animation was slick. You've really improved when compared to your previous movies (that I've seen anyway). I had no idea what was going on though. I haven't seen Hand Made Character, but from what I gathered the plot was very shallow. Again though, you animated well. Don't leave.
