Scene 15 is working fine for me, it's scenes 52-67 that aren't

Loving what I've seen, though. Ned's stuff always rules.

Ah blast. Sorry, guys... hopefully eventually I'll learn what's causing it to whack out for some of you and be able to fix it.

Scene 15 was fine with me, too, but all the scenes between 51 and 68 didn't work. Nevertheless, this was a brilliant movie, without a doubt one of my favourite Christmas movies, if not THE favourite. The voices were, yet again, superb (I love the voice on Hiro.. I.. forgot his character name), and.. you just pulled off everything really well. The movie gave off a great feeling. I can see you've put a tremendous amount of work into this, and it's certainly paid off.

9/10

I'll have Travis take a look at this and figure out what's making it go splat for so many people (and in so many different places). I'll be watching it myself soon, didn't have a chance to before going to Florida for Christmas.

This worked for me! The only problem I had was the quality of the music and voices... what the hell was up with that? Why did everything sound so "radio-y"? All your other movies had crisp and clear music/voices.

You're kidding? I actually improved on the audio for this movie, using a better codec. Could it have been your computer's sound card? Weirdness.

Did anybody else think the audio on this movie was significantly worse (or better) and my previous films? If it was worse, then I'll know not to use this new codec again in the future. Hmmm.

I agree with tuna, whatever you did this time was worse.

If it's really really rotten, I can go back to the original voice and music files and totally re-do it all. Give me feedback, folks... I wanna know how it was for all the rest of you.

Hey, that was actually really, really good! I had no idea what to expect.

A very fun movie, nicely directed, the voices were great and the concept worked for me!

If I ever start reviewing stuff more in-depth, I'll add this to one of the first on my list .

As noted on the initial post, I will be releasing an updated version that addresses the sound quality and (hopefully?) the scenes that have been troublesome for a few people. "When" depends on my work load for college.

Albeit, the updated release won't be as FUN per se, because Christmas is come and gone... oh well. I'm a perfectionist, I guess.

One of the easiet reviews I've ever written. Rarely have I seen a 3dmm movie come together so well. Fantastic work, Ned.

I should sticky this somewhere or something, I know. Sanity Clause is definitely my best, and makes a huge leap of quality over all the other movies as far as construction and direction are concerned. Direction, mostly because I finally decided to make my own scenes with all my own angles. But all the movies I've released online are "canon," if you will. The order goes...

Just Some Dirtbag (Coming this year)
Dirtbag and the Doctor
Dirtbag Returns
A Dirtbag No More?
The Ghost and Sgt. Hoffstead
The Jupiter IV Mini-series
Raiders of the Lost Episode
Frankie's New Car
Hoodlums and Heroes
Operation Breakout
Canine Caper
The Death Commandos
Gus's Birthday
Hunted
Deck the Hacks
Talk and Tampering
Deck the Hacks 2
Sanity Clause

Haha. I had a good laugh with this one. It's very well put together and the writing is sound. I'll get up a full review soon!

Updated Version 1.1

Updated Version 1.1 is now available. The following issues are addressed:

1 Improved audio quality of musical score
2 Improved audio quality of all of Tony Clay's characters' lines
3 GREATLY improved audio quality of Robot's lines
4 Improved audio quality of selected sound effects
5 Improved timing of several lines
6 Attempt to improve synchronization of the end of the dance number
7 Frankie's arm no longer goes into his hospital bed while he talks
8 Addition of the flash effect of Robot's laser (accidentally omitted in the original version)
9 Addition of one or two accidentally-omitted sound effects

Because some folks were complaining of rotten sound quality, I went back to Tony's original recordings and re-edited them for the movie with a better codec. Unfortunately, I do not have the original recordings of my own lines, so those of you with a temperamental sound card will have to endure my supporting roles. Then I was able to totally re-record Robot's lines, and they sound marvellous compared to before. And that's about it.

Woah, nice. Most people don't bother to go to this much effort to fix mistakes in their movies.

I was about to vote in the 3dmm.com awards, but seeing how this film's been nomimated for a shitload...I suppose it woudln't be fair for me to vote without having seen this movie.

EDIT... you liked Canine Caper, didn't you ching? If so, you'll probably (SHOULD) like this one, as it's a lot better... but if you didn't like it, well, that's because you're Jeff Ching.

The film for me had some serious stoppage issues. It stops at scene 55, and it won't let me access any scenes after until Scene 68.

I have doremon, v3dmm, frankie's and nick 3dmm. I'm not sure what's causing this to happen.

Go into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Kids\Virtual 3DMM\Expansions and delete everything in that directory. Then open the .vmm again.
