Umm...that sure did remind me of the Manchurian Candidate...a lot

But nevertheless, pretty good, although the black friend's voice was outrageously over-the-top :P

That was really good.

I did see the ending coming right before it happened, but it was still good.

Only REAL problem I had, and I'm nitpicking, is that the main guy's way of talking seemed a little.....straightforward. I mean, maybe it's just cos he's supposed to be a politician, but when he just says the facts straight and clear......seemed a little out-of-character.

Still a damn fine piece of work, though.

That was great. 8.5/10. I loved how the whole movie was in black and white.

v3dmm. Create your own expansions, models, scenes and even edit the ways of normal 3dmm stuff. Mike used it to make this movie in black and white.

Anyways...fantastic work Mike and Warren, the writing and dialogue was brilliant, the scenery was fantastic, Justin did a great job voice acting as did the others.
8/10
Also, howcome that the whole of 3dmm turns black and white when you open the movie?

I'm not gonna lie to you Mike, as your biggest fan I was a bit disappointed in this, not something I would usually enjoy, but I thought it was still very well done. Haha, ''UP NEXT: Why Barbara Streisand is ruining America''

I've actually never seen the Manchurian Canidate, but I'll check it out now to see what you're talking about.

Anyway, I am very happy with how Mike directed this. I am so proud to have my name next to his on the credits. He worked real hard and fast on it.

Very nicely directed - but doesn't quite cut it as a movie on it's own.

The characters, while believable, are just not developed enough for the ending to have any shock impact on the audience. Also, because of the short nature of the movie and the way it was being portrayed - I could see the ending a mile off (in the middle of the café scene, infact).

The movie needed more development of the main character - maybe some sort of hated from the Vice President to the President throughout the movie; possibly a scene where he bawls out how much he wants to 'gut the fucker' or something. Some sort of development into his emotions towards the gy, at least. THEN it'd be surprising if in them last 10 seconds he reconsidered or 'saw the light' and did what he did.

Overall, it's very well directed movie - but it's not pulled off near as well as it could have been.

7.2/10, a really nice movie though - don't get me wrong. Very well done.

So we've been replaced by "Dinner at Augustin Burger".

Yeah, hopefully there can be a new system to work this out better. I just knocked "Sanity Clause" off because I released a movie and there was a lot more work done in "Sanity" then in mine. I hope admins can lock a movie in there if its big enough.

I enjoyed this piece a lot. It's good for experimental purposes, but Ferret had a point when he said it could have worked better as a longer film. I'll go into detail when I write my review in the review thread. Keep watching, I'll get it up soon.

Damn good film, Mike. My only complaint is that you didn't use my voice at the end. I do think you made the right decision on who to replace me, though.

Wow, that was awesome! I loved the new face on Charlie, too, except the odd nose. The ending actually shocked me quite a bit, and the shot of the clock almost at 4:30 was really like.. tense. For me, anyway. The movie pulled off the effects it was going for here.

I watched this and New Kind of Airport both in one sitting, and I'm kinda suprised by how similar they are, what with both being in Black & White, 5 minutes long, and dealing with similar themes of racial tension. That said though, I prefer Hail To the Chief. Nice use of V3dmm - never guessed it was Patrick - and some really neat camera angles. Nice voice acting as well, and a cool, if slightly predictable twist to the ending. Good one.
