3dmm Updater - Released.

Bwala. Not sure if you have all the latest shit? BEHOLD, an answer to your problem:

The 3dmm Updater. It checks all the expansions (not VXPs) installed on your computer, and compares them against a list of most-recent expansions on stored on v3dmm.com.
If anything is out of date (or missing), it tells you and gives you a link to the installer for the update.

Downloads:
Have fun!

For a guide on installing 3dmm and then using this, check here:

It's telling me I don't have the latest versions of Frankie's and Doraemon. When I know for a fact that I do.

download both of these into your doraemon directory: http://v3dmm.com/downloads/sha1sum.exe
http://v3dmm.com/downloads/shaall.bat

Then run shaall.bat, and upload the sha1.txt file it makes to my server:
http://upload.3dmm2.com

Then do the same for frankie's, please.

I just installed Doraemon from your link, and it says that it's out of date.

Done.

Oh, and I downloaded the suggested Doraemon expansion it had. Rescanned, and got the message saying it still wasn't up to date.

I can't find a "full" copy of Doraemon, only the first release and the translation pack.
So I adjusted the download link, and fixed one incorrect hash.

I don't think it does. I'm gonna bug frankie about it when I do the updated version (which will directly download + install these expansions for you)

That usually means you've messed around with pencil.
Or you have a virus. Either one.

Yikes... I dont think either... unless I used pencil a reallll long time ago.

Ill just ignore it.

Well the updater works perfect, except that at each startup I get this error message:

This application has failed to start because SDL_image.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

and then this 2 times:
This application has failed to start because SDL_mixer.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

It's telling me I don't have the latest version of Frankie's expansion, even though I know I do. What's going on?

just slightly off topic, but does anyone have the McZee sound files from the UK edition of 3DMM. I cant stand the american accent on the US version I have, I lost my UK version 3-4 years after I brought it back when it was released...
