I have an urgent question.

After I make the new .act file that I use to fit the needs of my image, how do I get it and my image into 3dmm properly without the quality loss.

btw, my whole project is halted until I can figure this out.

What sort of image is it? Is it just a scene or is it a texture or something?

I was wanting to tell you what to do, but I dunno if that scene I made that moved the image several dozen pixels to the left was because I screwed up or the Pencil plugin Travis posted screwed up. Or something.

oh, It's the texture image I'm using for my house model. And it's okay if it messes up, I'll still be glad knowing the basic concept of how to do it.

also, does it move the image everytime you try it?

Okay, with Photoshop do all that crap with making a palette out of the image you want to use. Make sure the palette is 246 colors. Save the image you want to use as an 8bit BMP. In Pencil just edit the 3cn of the model you want and find the TMAP that you want to import your BMP over. Make sure you have the plugin that Travis posted earlier. After you import it the image will probably look all weird and stuff. Don't worry about it.

Now use Background2vxp or whatever it's called and just make a black scene. Edit it in Pencil. Find the GLCR, click View/Edit, and import the palette you created earlier. Now, save all your expansions and crap and use them in V3DMM. Use your newly edited model in your newly edited scene. It should work. Or something.

haha, woah. very interesting. I'll have to figure that out.

also, I got a wierd error where I had two scene with the model, and the first scene became the background of the second. very wierd.

Edit: nvm, about the second error. I thought my small picture background would repeat itself.

Anyway, HMC, your'e a lifesaver.
