It's worse that they're BMPs.

Your textures are in the wrong place.

They need to reletive to the model.

So if you have the model C:\MyStuff\thing.ms3d and then you have your texture in C:\MyStuff\Painted\texture.jpg then you need to use the same directory layout with 7gen.

So C:\7gen\thing.obj and C:\7gen\Painted\texture.jpg.

To avoid this problem, it's probably easyer if you just keep the model and the textures in the same folder as each other.

OK that's great but this format has worked the whole time except for this instance. Also I did a test on the same model and just used the grey texture and it converted without a problem. so obviouslythere is something esle thats wrong here.

Also I haven't moved anything from where it originally was when I made the model.

and thanks for the JPEG's

the thing is that I am not 100% sure of what I did

I bascially copied and pasted all the textures in every folder that mattered and went into milkshape, cleared the textures and redid them. then exported obj, and copied it in both directories and ran 7gen, so yeah not sure waht I did right but it worked !!!!!!!

It just means that you didn't copy the right textures first time round.
