How do you make triangles?

Hello, I am a novice at 3d movie maker, But I have a question about making pyramids and triangles. In works, I see triangular like shapes and I just want to improve on my movie making skills and amuse you all. Thanks

If you have Frankie's expansion pack installed, use the 3D text tool, select Wackydings 1 as the font, and type a capital "O" and it makes a triangle.

Definitely use what Kevin linked instead of how I used to: by making the shapes out squares. Horrible way. No. Eugh.

you formatted it wrong. you're supposed to type the text you want displayed, then highlight it and put the URL bbcode.

like this:

Superdings

Superdings 2

Superdings 3

Landscape Font 1

Landscape Font 2

Plantdings

Fencedings

Coil Font

/\ back/forward slash.

Separate letters such as A and | flipped, cartwheeled, etc.
Play around with 3d text.

The | is not an L, it's a vertical bar, as in math it represents absolute value.

___ 3 underscores with the Circle 3d text option. That should produce a triangle.

' apostrophe, can be mixed with a < or > to emulate a triangle.

I try and avoid using expansions, even for making cars, it was simpler than I thought.

Here are some other shapes you can use to emulate a triangle shape.

Ninja Star:
'>>>>'

Shape:Selection 3 from shape menu when choosing properties of 3d letter.

In Actions menu(or item next to the 'hand' symbol) click it, then click the 3d letters.

Select 'Flip Letters'.

Hit arrows near 'Set starting pose', do it until all arrows merge and the star is formed flat-down horizontally.

Arrow head:
'___' or 'vvv', underscores are better.

Shape:Selection 3 from shape menu when choosing properties of 3d letter.

In Actions menu(or item next to the 'hand' symbol) click it, then click the 3d letters.

Hit arrows near 'Set starting pose', do it until the underscores are diagonal or form an arrow head.
