NCommander just submitted some patches to the 3DMMForever GitHub that allows the source code to be built on modern systems.

Hey, so I was wondering if there is any sort of even rough estimate on how long before a somewhat stable 3DMM will be available for up-scaled movies.

Z-man and I want to run a 3dmm livestream for a bunch of Godzilla dorks, so we'll probably just roll with what's out there already, but I also want to use the opportunity to galvanize some new fans for the program. Keep doing McZee's work, gentlemen!

thank you Foone! Even though I’m not involved with 3dmm anymore - I still search it up every month or so, will be something I hold dear to my heart forever. So happy to hear of this monumental event in the timeline of the program + community.

I still vividly remember the early days of the community trying to contact Microsoft employees involved with 3dmm, & the community having the discussion of which films to send as a way to show them how much we pushed the program beyond its simple intended use with the hope it encouraged them to provide us with new resources to extended the limitations at the time.

I hope this is the beginning of a new exciting chapter for the community 💜

It's code talk 98% of the time for now and the occasional concept art. Not really any mods to speak of so far.

I just wanted to say that this is some awesome news. I can't wait to see what the community is able to achieve with these tools at their disposal now. Hopefully 3dmm will be thriving more than ever with some new and improved upgrades and assets. This is fucking fantastic!

hey if anyone is making 3dmm2 then you shuld make it so you can edit/make
actors/props and make outfits like draw them or inport a png (png is a type of picter format) like make your own mods innnn 3dmm
