I'm currently trying to upload another Virtual machine 3DMM but I am going to have to install some mods because...
1. the only character I installed in 3DMM was Cream the rabbit and we all know people go apeshit whenever they see Cream or her name (yes, they take the hate that far)
2. It's boring without mods

I'd also like to see Camtasia Studio installed in this virtual machine too! "wave out mix" is also crucial to capturing the soundtrack of 3DMM movies. Otherwise I'm just gonna add sound in post-production.

This is a good idea.

If we can add Camtasia with preloaded specs and settings to capture 3dmm movies along with v3dmm itself.. is that possible?

The system the preservation project was using was near perfect, and if we can just flat out replicate that it would lead to easy movie capturing, and with everybody capturing, we can quickly fill up our database with high quality captures

I can make this happen. The only thing is I need a good hosting for it, cause I tried torrents and that wasn't working for like half the people. Even if we have to do it by request-by-PM only if people are paranoid about hosting a free copy of Windows LOL.

But before we waste time uploading the whole beast, etc., I want to know everything I should include and do.

As stated in the OP, everything from here is already included.

Let me get you the Camtasia specs we were using for the preservation project. Camtasia just keeps the settings as default once you change them, so people would just have to follow like 5 steps to record their movies.

As far as a place for hosting, perhaps we can open a Dropbox account and just link to the file?
