i have python downloaded, it all seems to be working okay, there are no actual instruction though? i've re-installed and downloaded it numerous times, still just an exe. file telling me if i'm running it, just to put my sound files in and they'll be converted. as soon as i drag a wav file onto it, it closes down and nothing seems to happen

Question, is the mirror for the program safe, free and legit, or will I have to worry about the cops tracking me down?

You should be completely safe with direct downloads hosted on sites by 3dmm members. Go ahead and download, nothing will happen to you, I promise!

Nah man, Microsoft Kids/Home is dead and no one cares about 3dmm anymore copyright wise. You can't be tracked when downloading it over here so don't worry about keeping the stuff

Yeah, you can only be traced if the link has something else in it, I think. That's how some kid got taken to court in America anyway.

Hahah. Derply kind of reminds me of myself the first time I downloaded an emulator. Watching the download bar with one eye, and peeking out the window for police cars with the other.

Really though, you have nothing to worry about. At this point, 3DMM is very very much abandonware. If Microsoft really cared about their discontinued animation software, they'd have done something long ago. Hell, some of the original dev team know about the site and love that there is even still an active community. I promise you the downloads are 100% safe

Man, just download 3dmm! It's not a trap or anything, most of us here have it, from the exact same link. Download it, get the expansion then download v3dmm, then you're good to go.
