Great movie. Too bad my voice acting sucked in it

yeah, i agree with some of snell's comments.

alot of the movie didn't turn out the way i wanted because i finished it 6 hours before I went to colombia, so i rushed a shitload of things.

the dvd version (platinum collection) will have about 5-8 minutes more, expanding on the plot and editing some horrible flaws (like the soldiers talking and you can't hear the voices.. i was too lazy to look at what the translated lines were, since they were in german, so i didn't add them).

yeah.

anyway, it's cool that people liked it.

Dustin, you did the French guys voice right?
I actually thought it was the best voice acting in the movie. As stated in my review on my site (see sig below).

Ok, I have to say this, it seems it's annoyed no one else.

The moving camera!!! Statrting from the sky and moving down to the ground, ya know like an elevator. That paricular camera movement was used WAY too much! I was so sick of seeing it! I can't beleive I'm the only one that got pissed off by this!!!

Other than that, it was quiet good. The voices were hilarious, especially Will's, and ESPECIALLY since he was Gustave! I was waiting from him to do a backflip onto a spike or something.

It was entertaining, but for the wrong reasons I think.

And it just didn't have that 'Andres' feel to it.

My review:
A very good start, the complicated action sequence really pulls you in. The great camera movement, background scenery, and attention to detail really gave the movie some visual appeal. But after that, the movie sort of dropped off, until the bit with the American soldier. The "mail these" scene was by far the best scene in the movie. It's very hard to make an emotional scene in 3dmm, and that bit was directed superbly. The music, voice acting, everything fit. Beautifully done. Another cool part of the movie were the parts dubbed in German. That gave it a truely authentic feel.
The main problems were the voice acting, some of the blood effects, and some historical inaccuracies. Another complaint was the last sequence, when the main character kills the general. It didn't pull me in at all.
But other than that, good job. The Prof Spaz and Will Maltby bits were great!
4 out of 5 stars.
