CBF Trade Games
by Dino

Plot Summary:
Just a typical 3DMM Exaggeration of real life events.

Movie/Ideas by: Dino
Voices/Ideas: Monkey

OK, this may not make that much sense if you don't know the people/events of this movie (Even though I know them it still doesn't make that much sense) but it should still be a thoroughly enjoyable romp.

Requirements
3D Movie Maker
Frankie's 3dmm Expansion Pack 1

This was pretty damn good for a first submission. I'll comment more later, but yeah overall it was good.

You'll want to PM a "Pirate Balloon" about getting your account approved. I know I had to. Also, welcome!

Pretty good. I especially enjoyed the fore mentioned car chase scene, and while it did look slightly bland at times, it's certainly better than what I would of made in pre-v3dmm times.

I liked it.

Graphics: Very nicely done.
Took me a while to realize where in the school courtyard that was, but when I did get it, I thought, thats brilliant!
Shame you guys were reduced back to what we had to do in grade 7, just walking around doing laps - ever so boring
Other that that, the moving scenes and buildings and whatnot were simple but effective.

Sounds:
Pretty good, the voices and sounds added a lot of character. Particularity the gun and reload noises. Oh yes.
I also really enjoyed how at least 3 of the music tracks were by Australian bands/artists, whether this was intentional or not, i don't know but yeah!
And yes, the music was good, I know people can rewatch it just to hear certain tracks again, so that adds appeal. More underground/less mainstream would be nice next time, and the old school music was awesome and suiting! (Ghostbusters, Wake me up, before you go go)

Gameplay
Wait, what?
Story then, whatever.
It made enough sense to me in the end, but it was just a good excuse to have some excessive action sense.
And when you think about it, isn't that what its all about???
The question, i can't wait to see answered is, does it make sense to anyone else, hahahaha.

Hahaha, I liked the "laps" part. It was nice and nostalgic. I think a lot of people used to do "laps" witjh their friends, I know I did.

I am terribly sorry about the mistakes of the movie but we had a tight time to make it in. Thank you bob!
Most of the action scenes were suposed to go for at least 3 minutes but we ran out of time.
The music was all put on the night of premier except for car chase song, wake me up before you go go and ghostbusters.
By the way monkey did all the laps around the school i just stayed at the same spot.
Don't worry we are making at least two more movies with this story line and we already have the second one pretty much done! Yay
It should have just a few expansions but not to much just what we need.
It will be finished about the end of the year.
Thanks for the responses.

The 2007 Classic Re Uploaded!
On YouTube!
And SOMEHOW not Shot Down by Copyright Music issues!

It's weird how that works, I think it depends on the record label of the artist.
Most are chill.

Britney Spears is Chill.

AC/DC's Record Label is NOT Chill, too bad some of our best movies had their music in it.

At least YouTube lets you do a reupload and just kinda garble the "offending" music segment as I have done for a few movies.

Eh, I don't even think I'm from the truly original old days, think I only got semi active here from about 2007 for a few years.

My mates and I (collectively known as Channel 64) made a HEAP of Movies from 2002-2004.

Once we discovered this place we thought most of our stuff weren't worthy of uploading here...
but actually on reflection I think I might upload just a few more of the better ones.

It's just that when you click on my profile it only shows a few Movies but I did do way more than that.
I honestly think my best work was in 2002/2003 with Saving General Patrick and The Battle Renovated, although did some pretty good collaborations with Dino being:

Channel 64's War on Ninglefest (2012)

A Day at KFC (2012)

The Slippery Fish (2017)

Is there a way to have multiple Directors shown in the Movie credits?
I'm thinking there must be because Movies like The Big Movie have like half a million listed.

Anyway...what else

EDIT:
And here is Trade Games 2 in case you missed it:
https://3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=32238

Still not on YouTube because of Copyright Music issues, although will try some stuff, at the very least will get some very good clips from it.
