Sgt. Steve is a great example, but its a bit complex for a newbie to take inspiration from. You need a lot of experience in both animating with 3DMM and experience to write something that's raunchy, but witty and charming as Sgt. Steve.

Try taking inspiration from shorter movies. Will Maltby's older works like the I Know compilation series for example, as well as his other shorts. There are other short flicks that I can't remember off the top of my head that are also good sources of inspiration.

Examine them and take them apart in 3DMM to see how each animation trick and technique is used and then use them yourself, once you've gotten a good grasp of animating them.

tbh i disagree. farlandwarrior movie is pretty mid. it use Generic technique that noob use like dragging actor. choppy animation and use popular mod without using it in a Creative way. well pokerman movie like the Texan Time-Travel 1 and 2 is a good 3dmm movie that was like a love latter to classic old 3dmm movie from the early 2000s. with Impressive animation and Scenery as well as having a fun story
