That makes no sense what so ever...at all.

We are a REALLY small community we are like a fly compared to earth, we are nothing but 100 members comprising of mostly teenagers.

About the gays, we don't mean GAY PEOPLE, we mean stupid/retard etc..

* Eats bread *

You're a gay.

Re: Uh-oh...

This thread has become hilarious. Someone please tell me what URL was being leeched from, I gotta see who would devote so many resources to this. A scretary and some interns, or one really bored european webmaster? You be the judge.

Not in EU?

Yes, Anna said that she (tracerouted - I'm not sure what that means) the server and knows that it is (hosted - like drinks?) at globalcompass.com. But she is interested in the fact that the (domain owner - ???) has put the words "Mira Max" in the name.

Er, she uses the "AA" term and that might give you a bit of a clue about where she is from.

Increasingly, many solicitors have multi-national presences.

Well, it's Tuesday

and my boss is on her way out of the office, I am waiting for the three interns who should have been here at 9 but are probably tied up in the wrecks on the ring road this morning because of the rain.

But it sounds like the rest of you are up far too late and I probably should start a fresh cuppa.

I imagine she will look back in on your writing, because she seemed to find you quite funny. But if the problems her client's wife was having stop, I would not think you will hear from her again.

Right, then.

Would it be too much to ask to get the english-speaking secretary back please? Or at least someone who is able to coherently form sentences? I'm suprised that you find your (boss - ?) to be such an expert on intellectual property issues, since this is most certainly not an issue of that area. It is part of my job that I am required to be well versed in intellectual copyright issues, since I run a film production company that uses copyrighted materials. Posting an image from someone's server does not violate the copyright, it only takes bandwidth. Downloading the image, uploading it to a new server, and claiming it as your own would violate it, but no one here has done that.

Again, I wonder what kind of business opreation has interns sitting around, doing nothing, and yet the 'boss' has to come sign on to an internet bulletin board to complain about file leeching, which would only steal a few megs of data transefer at the very most. I myself pay a very small amount for 20 GB of data transfer, so I'm curious as to why such a big deal is being made of it? The image in question was deleted, we gave you help as how to prevent bandwidth theft in the future, and tried to be helpful. You in turn threaten us with legal actions and mass user imping, therefore wasting our bandwidth. seems somewhat hypocritical, and, if I may be bold, rather idiotic. Better to consider the matter closed and leave.

Ego boy, unless you tell us what your site is, we'll just think you're a wa... sorry... GANKER, who's just come here to annoy us for no apparent reason, and treat you as such.

The administrators of this site can easily delete all your messages and ban you from posting with a few mouseclicks, so my advice is, go bother Google.

Haha, the communitys first legal threat! This is AWESOME!

You know what would be super cool? If this was Lars from Metallica and the image in question was a Metallica logo! That would be awesome!

Seriously Ego what website/company or whatever are you from?

Oh my God, where on Earth do these people come from? This has to be the most ridiculous accusation I've ever heard.

Seriously, Lake Ego, the kid only snagged it off google's image search. All of your website's images are included in Google's search library, and if you don't want them in there, then I suggest you yell at them and not us.

What surprises me even more is that this only happened ONCE. I mean, I could understand your position a little more if people were constantly linking to your images from here. That would constitute a bastardly entrance like you've recently performed for us. But it only happened once! And considering that nobody here has even been to your website in the first place, I can say without a doubt, that it will never happen again! So coming here and lecturing us ALL to death over something one person did, serves no logical purpose whatsoever.

Finally, your threats of legal action are LAME. How old are you, 15? Can you seriously not see through that pre-pubescent/hormone-fueled rage enough to get past this and move on with your life? Or are you just THAT computer illiterate to not understand the basic concepts of preventing image remote linking?

There's nothing illegal about it, so therefore, you have no platform to argue your case.

Honestly though, go and get your "boss" in here. Get everyone you know and tell them the whole story SO THEY CAN LAUGH AT YOU JUST LIKE I'M LAUGHING AT YOU NOW.

Talk about over-reacting. People link to other website's images millions of times a day on millions of different bulletin boards. Are you really that new to the Internet to be unaware of this?

My god, what loser would put this much time and effort in trying to take legal actions against a tiny community who link to a few pics? Bandwidth stealing? HAHAHAHAHAHA for the love of god, get a real job!

You, sir, are a disgrace to your continent!

Not a few pics...ONE pic! It more than likely had no significant effect on his bandwidth whatsoever.

15 gigs a year costs 70 bucks, i dont think if we stole two megs it'll make a difference. The entire site is HTML and pictures. And it's not even that interesting. And it cant be that popular if it hasnt been able to get a shorter URL, popular sites usually have a domain name. This site has a URL longer then spaceports accounts.
