Is there an easy way to make a "gallery" on my site?

Yeah, I'm looking for something like on this front page, where you can hover over thumbnails, the thumbnail reacts, and then clicking it will bring the image up.

http://www.krutie.com

I know that site was done in java, but I was hoping there was an easier way to do it.

well if you don't care about the thumbnail "reacting" you can do it really easily using frames, although they're kind of passé. I'm pretty sure anything involving the mouse hovering over an object rather than actually clicking it requires some kind of script though.

Google for free javascript or free flash photo gallery. There are billions of results. Most of them (and I mean this seriously) you unfortunately won't be smart enough to figure out how to implement on your own.

also I think you mean javascript, not java. it's a common mistake. javascript was in fact named that way to trickily piggyback off of the popularity of java, but aside from similar syntax they are nothing alike

What's your site done with? If you use wordpress you can get the NextGen plugin.
