BTW, Dean, speaking of the "couple drinks" feeling: Social anxiety sufferers often have a tendency to self-medicate with alcohol, and are shown to have a higher risk of alcoholism as a result. There's nothing wrong with liking a few drinks to loosen up, just beware as it can become a crutch.

This thread is an amazing read. And whatever weird 'coping mechanism' it is that AR-Raven fell back onto, I think is the same one I've used.

Slightly off topic, I apologise, but I'm interested in the responses it might get in this thread: in times of difficulty or 'depression', have you ever felt stupid? I'm probably talking complete arse, but at my lowest moments of weed-dependancy and unhappiness, I kept getting the recurring fear that by being so constantly unhappy I had actually damaged my mind, and was literally losing intelligence. Does anybody get what I mean?
