You won't see your expansions show up immediately. Don't try to post them again.

So when it doesn't show up, do not resubmit it.

First, you need to read this thread: http://www.3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=15266

Read it? Good, cause if you submit an expansion with a generic filename, it could take one of us a long time to get around to fixing it for you. We may not feel like it for a few days, or we may just remove the link and tell you to fix it yourself.

Sorry to be a hardass here, but we get a ridiculous amount of stuff like "tree.vxp". If there is a single other "tree.vxp" in any other movie, anyone who tries to view both is going to get an error message and not be able to view the second movie.

Use specific, unique shortnames when creating your expansion and it will be activated in very short order.

THANKS,
Mgmt.

Don't submit expansions with generic filenames. They won't be activated.

Expansions with filenames like car.vxp, ninja.vxp, yourmom.vxp won't be activated, in order to avoid expansion collisions. If you're not sure how to make it unique, append the date in numerical form like this: 06242007 or 24062007.

Additionally, if you have to change an expansion's shortname to get it approved. remember to change all instances of the shortname inside the vxp (.3cn, .3th, and .cfg filenames, as well as the vxp filename). If you have used it in a movie already, either delete the movie and expansion or re-ID the expansion as well using 3DMM Pencil. If you don't know how to do this, it's much easier to just not use the expansion until you've changed the shortname to something more unique.

Yes, this is a pain in the ass to do, which is why we're much less likely to do it for you, and certainly not in a timely fashion, if you submit something with a generic filename. Do it right the first time and this won't be a problem.
